We sent Brooks McMahon a 555 Enduro and MTE 5" hub to test in the great north of Minnesota, and these were his first impressions! The 555 Enduro and 5" MTE hub are one of our favorite combos on the GT (or any board for that matter) because it brings the thing back to life! Carvy-er, more stable-er, and more fun-er! Obviously to anyone with a brain, less sidewall is no bueno, so, conversly, more sidewall must be mucho bueno~!~ TFL always thinking, always working tirelessly to bring us the things we need, even if we didn't know we needed them~!~

just ordered my n42 hub with steel bearings and 555 enduro. Beyond stoked rn! I really wanted the n52 magnets but after some thinking, I concluded that the difference in torque is probably negligible.

I came into possession of a lil foccer and I'm going to Vesc one of my XRs. Will this work with my WTF XR rails with the 5.5 enduro on an XR platform, or is there a tire for specific for that?

XR 5" hub w52 mags $599 5.5 tire $120 wtf rails $330 torque box $250 kush rear $95 bang bumper 90$ they are really close to selling their own fully built wheel. i suspect if they werent afraid of being sued. We definitely have a floatlife wheel. what ifs and never will be's...

Forget hill climbing tests. Now that the Floatwheel GTV is a reality the real question is: What provides best FM motor cooling for the big boys? Aftermarket rails (no powder coat) + Cold Ones + Float Blocks OR TFL MTE hub OR Tech Rails Billeted hub OR GTS motor

What is the science behind it? I've always thought bigger tires like on a car, will make the ride smoother. Why does decreasing the size of the hub make the ride better? Is the tire now bigger and fatter than compared to a stock larger hub tire? I believe you that it's a better ride. Just wondering more details as to how, and why? Awesome videos!

Exactly right, smaller hub so it fits a fatter tire. Had the pleasure of trying it out and it feels like I hoped it would feel when I first got my onewheel. Way more floaty ⚡️❤️⚡️

I'm thinking of getting this with N48 magnets. You say N48 provides more torque but slightly decreased top speed. So on a GT, does this mean it can't do 20 anymore or it still can do 20 but you are closer to the real top speed which is often higher than 20 for lighter riders, full battery etc.?

You can absolutely still do 20 easy on a GT. We're more talking about a absolute max speed of 32ish instead of 34ish on GT

@@TheFloatLife So the N48 and N52 provide more torque and more margin for keeping balanced, and as long as you are happy doing low-mid 20s for speed, is there any downside? I guess if you are using that extra torque to ride more aggressively, you will lose some range.

Snagged my N42 with ceramic bearings!! So stoked to try it out. I have the 555 Enduro from the first drop in early October. Finally secured the hub!!
