I was passing through town yesterday morning and got to see the mothership! I am really impressed with what you guys do and you continue to develop great things. I appreciate the time to talk tech. Hopefully next summer the whole family will take a west coast riding trip and stop by again.

I sure as hell wish my GT would have come out with the "slide like butter" bumper!... My battery cut out on me at 21.6mph last May... Stopped Dead On The Spot!!! slammed me to the pavement and shattered my left femur, broke my right thumb, opened up my right elbow and bashed my head pretty good too. I had to be life-flighted to the Trauma Center in Roseville CA. I really wish the slide bumper would have been Stock!! Lot of people could have avoided those trips to the Hospital. I still love my GT.. I just wish it hadn't tried to kill me. ❤😂❤ 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

@@TheFloatLife Doesn't the rails already angle it up? Cuz it drops down near the center but were the controller in terms of height doesn't matter. It angles up to retain clearance right?

@Jameslangford-rc6sw clearance isn't the issue. The controller has a level built into it, so when the nose it at an upward angle like with WTFs, it brings the nose down so the controller is level. Adjusting nose height in the app can offset that with standard WTFs, the steep and deeps are too angled

@@Go2Realtor Im not saying clearance is the issue. Im just talking about the way wtfs were designed. The controller does not self level, that is why there is Digital tilt, poor mans tilt kit, etc. I was asking tfl man, thanks for your opinion

@@rnonty You can buy a Specialized Stumpjumper Comp Carbon Bike for 3k and on top of that a CAPiTA Mercury 21/22 (same as the 2024 just different Colours) Snowboard for 400 bucks ;) And if you really need it a Onewheel Pint on top of that for 4500.- ;) Just imagine what you could do with that stuff. You can even upgrade it (from The Float Life) / buy gear and equipment and make holidays for another 1500.- and still be at the same price. Cheers from Switzerland

@@Eryktion lol im straight on that. busted hubs and plastic for 2k? i mean, my grammy makes brittle candle that holds up better than the floatwheels. maybe in a year, or two, they'll be worth it, but right now there isn't a chance i'd buy one. imagine if fm's boards were as fragile as the floatwheel. the community would be raking them over the coals! but your hatred for fm's bad policies has blinded you.

Jump re-engagement time means the time spent that the board is activated without the sensors being activated Air since means that the board knows when it’s in the air and will always stay activated. no matter how long.

No it isn't. However, deactivation delay with surestart is the same as jump re engagement, however, jump re-engagement cannot be programmed as long as SureStart deactivation delay. AirSense will detect when your bored is in freefall which custom shaping does not do

Yeah definitely know of a few VESC builds that cost more and Tech Rails parts are generally far more expensive than yalls so load a board up with all their stuff and it would come in higher. That said i really appreciate yalls pricing. I am definitely a TFL guy. Yall are my favorite and i buy from yall more than anyone else. That said i hope you make stuff for the ADV soon as that's my board now

@@dee2ski fair enough, I'd point you towards a float wheel then as its 1/2 the price and outperforms the gts. If your xr are 4209 or older you could also pay to have a cbxr installed and get same range as a gt.

If truly concerned about crossthreading screws you'd just start each one by hand and not by power tools. I am positive you have crossed threads unnecessarily and will continue using your technique. The gun will power it through but a little damage is done nonetheless. Just my $.02

So i had a stupid idea. Someone needs to take a penny farthing bike, remove the small rear wheel, and add in a onewheel. Use the pedals from the front wheel to control the onewheel.

Where is the GT-S vs the ADV video? You said you went 33 mph on a "non-GTS" board. Where is the video? Or did FM get to you before you posted it with a plea,..."...if you post that online, sales of the GT-S will die." As much as I don't want to believe the FloatLife would cave to their demands, every day that video doesn't appear suggests that Future Motion has way more influence over this company than you would like to admit. I don’t think TFL is trying to promote FW that hard. They “borrowed” TFL designs without asking and Jeff doesn’t profit from them having a faster board than FM. I mean, everyone wants FW to win, but only bc FM is so bad to their customers.
