I used to be a GLS fan, but now I think the X7 is a little better. Still, the GLS isn’t bad for people that just want a Mercedes

1 pound is 0.45 something kg so for 200 pounds its near 90 kg which is really not a upshift for GLS but comfort maybe a better caviar as merc is slightly better and i don't think that either has a digital rear view mirror option which is a must for 3row suv

Middle row seats move forward too slow. Death trap in third row if in an accident to get out if electronic middle row moves very slowly forward.
