I know all you who read what I will say will not like it. But you can do this today! the only thing standing in your way is yourself. Look at this woman, she left everything that many would say "held them back" from doing it. YOu dont need to own land to live like this, WWOOF, volunteer, kibutz, so many options. In my life I have waited to do things only to wish i had done them sooner. If you truly want to live this way, just do it and figure it out later!

@@grubert3535 In the English language a title or name can also be shown in quotation marks. Sometimes it's used for showing that a brand or place name isn't the real thing. A car by Ford called a 'Mustang', for example, isn't a real Mustang (horse), it's car so one could put 'Mustang' in quotes. KZfaq is also a concept....it's not a tube, it's not you (or me), it's a brand, an imaginary concept...which someone, at some stage, invented as a name to represent a video sharing website. Somehow this video feels like watching someone move into my childhood home, sad because you're no longer living there but happy for the new life it'll have. I'm not sure where these feelings came from but I thought I'd share, and wish you well. This place looks incredible and I hope to do the same in the future. KZfaq kept recommending this so I watched it today. This is similar a bit to my journey. I bought a farm in Lithuania (I'm from Lithuania) and has been working on it on and off on my own. My husband should joing me this year hopefully. Of course, this lifestyle is challening, but being in nature, drinking fresh water, growing your own organic veggies, and having total peace is definitely worth it.

Harriet, brutal....

It would be impressive enough if you did this with already possessing the skills needed, the fact that you learnt the skills as you went along just makes it even more astonishing. My first visit and have to say, you have done an amazing job, and it is beautiful that you have taken the option to know your land and all it provides for you. Don't be surprised if nature reaches out to you. It does communicate, answers prayers for rain. Protects your land and critters if harmful weather is coming. Don't think of prayers as religious. Talk to nature as a friend when asking it to protect...and provide. I suspect it has grown attached as it knows what you have accomplished. Spread your arms in love. It will in turn fill you with love. Can't beat it. Namaste.😏💕
