I've figured out that I can't put the time limit on myself lol too much pressure for me. I just read and study a chapter a day and I've enjoyed that.

I thought that I was going to start doing a chronological reading man I haven't even started. Doing someone else's plans is very hard for me because I'm usually led to certain chapters to just sit and study. I would really like to do a group Bible study or reading plan so I'm accountable but one day God willing. I so agree about the spiritual warfare ughhh

I started heart dive with Kanoe Gibson January 1, 2024 and I’m up-to-date with it, but I’m also retired and have more time on my hands but it’s an amazing study. I’ve learnt so much even after being in the Bible most of my life I’ve learned so much by studying the Bible in chronological order. It all makes sense to me now.

New subbie here! I started my Bible in a year journey with Kanoe back in February, and it was just too fast. Since then, I’ve gone on my own, and have realized that reading the Bible in a year wasn’t realistic for me. I find myself rereading books because they’re so good. I also realized that I lost focus of reading God’s word be zoning in on getting the challenge done. Bible plans are not for me lol I like taking my time and rereading my favorite books.

I am exactly the same way. I just use Bible reading plans to get exposure to every book, but they are not used as my main study. For my main studies, I usually study through one book at a time because I love verse mapping and I love to learn everything about that book from start to finish before discovering a new book. With Bible reading plans, I just use them for exposure but I tab small notes for each book as I am reading them for exposure with post it notes and then it will motivate me to go back to that book after I finish my main study. And I do that because I love to study every book, but I know that I can't with the dynamics of my life, but those post it notes are my quick way of studying just a little bit of each book and then when I can finally get to that book I at least have some notes to start me off.

I started on the plan back in January and was reading 2 sometimes 3 chapters a day and it became overwhelming. Then in May I started over and decided to read a chapter a day and it's much more enjoyable.

I totally feel the same way you do about Bible plans I find myself starting one and never able to truly complete it. I wanted to read the Bible in 90 days but it was too much for me. I bought the KJV Chronological Life Application Study Bible and I’ll be using this to read through for 2025.

Anyone that has been walking with the Lord for any amount of years will know that hungering after righteousness will not come without forms of resistance. For me, I eat the meat and throw away the bones. Whatever applies, I’ll take it in, whatever doesn’t….. I don’t watch everyone’s videos because my channel is on crocheting and planning, however, if I’m enjoying other channels, I engage for a moment. ❤
