Well done on loc goals. Hair looking great. I do 2 pt rotation and they DO NOT form flat as your hair condenses it does so cylindrical. Your locs are fluffy & voluminous now, come year 3 that may change as all those loose hairs find their way into a loc and solidify more. Such a beautiful journey that I don’t regret, started five family members with locs too & they the same. FREEDOM & new discovery of how our hair can be & lengths you can achieve is everything 😊🇬🇧

Thanks so much for your comment! Okay that’s good to hear because I was examining my locs just to make sure they wasn’t flat. Woop woop I can’t wait for the year 2 & year 3 just to see how they have changed. I’d actually love to do microlocs or sister locks full time but I need a qualification first. Maybe when locs are as popular as they are in USA, it would be something to consider. At 54 years I’ll stick to my day job. 😉

I honestly don't know why people say 2 point rotation creates flat locs. My locs aren't flat

Hey I'm 27 months in and I've always done the 2 pt rotation and my locs are not flat and yes the 2 pt rotation gives volume.

I am getting use to them now and loving the length. I wore wigs a lot so getting locs was certainly a change for me. Can't wait to get to bra strap length.😊

Thank you! Yes I’m so happy I chose smaller ones, how big are yours? I actually can’t remember, I have a loc count video on my channel. But I have split and combined some since then x

Be careful with combing lint out bc if they are already embedded in your locs and you comb it out your weakening your locs. But i love your locs definitely hit the subscribe video after watching
