He's been playing too long now. He's too old to switch to a whole new life now and find something brand new. It would certainly be very very hard to do in his mid to late 50's that's for sure. It's not just poker, it's his outlook and way of thinking. That's why I'm glad he's off the drugs. He'll still be miserable for a while, but it will be well worth it.

He came off the drugs. He's going to be miserable, moody, and grumpy without energy for a while. His body will adjust eventually. Hopefully he can play his best though.
