A true Berg-Cup Legend by now, this is Manfred Schulte´s Citroen AX Kit-Car in its latest evolution, one of the most recognizable and fastest 1600cc Class Monsters in Europe. Powered by the 1.6L Naturally Aspirated engine used on the C2 S1600 Rally Car but further tuned by NEMETH to a dizzying 274Hp/10.000Rpm, here we can watch it being raced in anger at Turckheim Hillclimb 2020.
The product of over a decade of development by Mr. Schulte, this little Monster has its power transmitted to the Front Wheels through a Drexler 6-speed Sequential Gearbox and every body panel replaced by Carbon Fiber ones. All the weight saving leads to an impressive 680Kg figure, making this an impressively agile machine. A true Hot Hatch in every sense of the word, it will be joined next year by another Citroen AX Monster built by the same Team, as Benedikt Schulte (Manfred´s son) is finishing his own unit and it looks pretty menacing already... Hopefully, next year, we´ll be able to access which will take the crown of fastest AX in Hillclimb Racing...
