10.13.22 Ed, this is Wild. Front and back cameras. Could see where you were going and see where you have been. Was a dusty one. Will watch more later. Was a few wrecks in this one. Was it hard to sync up the cameras? Looks like the back camera was taking better video. Is the Stark still on schedule? Any thoughts on the new Storm Bee coming in at 280lbs? Less dust going on lap 2. Had a problem on the battery change. I liked when people were coming up and trying to pass you and had to eat dust from the mighty KTM. I heard you giving out your number 115 a few times. Were you being scored at different parts of the course? Did the hurricane come to this area and drop lots of rain? Do you wear a dust mask so not to suck in all that dust? Nice blue sky from the back cam when out in the open. Were you the only electric bike there?

I had planned on clapping my hands really loud when I started up both cameras to be able to sync the videos, similar to how in movies they had the clapboard to start a scene (also used to sync since audio and video are often recorded separately). But I forgot to do this. Instead, I used the moment just before our row started when it was very quiet and then we had the first sound of the motorcycles starting. So it actually was easy to sync the videos that way. Unfortunately, the Stark Future company has stated that there have been more supply chain disruptions then they had anticipated. My delivery date has been pushed back to October of 2023. This is disappointing since I was hoping to have it for the next race season. In truth I just hope they just actually produce it and get it out at any point and don’t go out of business or something like that. Not sure about the Storm Bee. It seems like more of a heavy trail bike than one that would be used for racing. Of course I am racing what is considered a trail bike right now, LOL. It would be fun to ride it and try it out, but at 280 lbs, it might be a bit heavy for me. I was yelling out my number because they had a woods checkpoint wring down numbers. The hurricane did not affect us much. Maybe a few sprinkles. No, I did not wear a dust mask, although I did tend to hold my breath for a moment when I went through the thickest parts. :-) Yes, I was the only electric bike there racing. That is always the case. :-)

It's so odd how the trailing view camera wasn't affected by the dust so much?

Yes, I found that very interesting as well. At first I thought it was just more dust accumulating on the front lens, but then I realized it cleared up quite a bit after a lap and a half or so, before I wiped it off.
