With the Apple vr coming out that may actually happen, I also love 3D

I do find pop outs fun in certain movies and they are a bit gimmicky for me, I really like the depth, I think the audience disinterest in 3d is because of the way it looks in the cinema and having to pay for and wear glasses , it looks much better at home , now if we were to have 3D without having to wear the glasses that would be a game changer , If you like pop outs that's great ENJOY THEM !

@@thekingdommovieschannel Without pop outs you're missing half the fun. Forget the so-called artistic crowd as referring to pop-outs as gimmickry. What is the reason why you don't like them. Things coming out of the screen and sometimes into your lap is amazing. What's not to like. It's huge in some Disneyland exhibits because people love pop-outs. It's only a gimmick because the directors and producers say they are. They were never called gimmicks in the past.

@@jz6491 I never said I didn't like them they are fun I just prefer to have great depth,over pop out I'm certainty not one of the artistic crowd, pop out most certainly have their place in 3D movies 👍

@@thekingdommovieschannel I like it all! I think you need both depth and pop outs but I would like to thank you for engaging just a bit on this subject and welcoming you as a fellow 3d enthusiast. I did watch your video and liked it very much and appreciate your effort to keep the genre alive. I have a 56" Vizio but I'm about to switch to a Samsung 4k 3d 65". I don't know anything about the projectors except that they exist. Are they still available and how do they compare to a Samsung. If they are truly brighter then that's a huge plus. Thanks again in keeping the 3d alive. After watching I switched to a thumbs up. GL

@@jz6491 Thanks so much, I love engaging with fellow movie fans, Projectors are still available and I'm looking to upgrade myself to a 4KI don't know much about 3D tv's but I've read they are becoming hard to get, I really do see your point, you'll have me converted to pop out 😂 take care my friend

@Tullebob I agree on all these titles as well! I don't have Kong: Skull Island but I saw reviews that stated that the 3D quality was fantastic! I want that one so bad!😄

I own several documentaries and I don't know if it's the same but I have one called Safari Africai. I don't remember it however I do know that most documentaries miss the great opportunities to exit the screen and get in your face. I love to freeze a pop out as it looks unbelievably real. Where else can you do that except while watching a 3d movie at home? There used to be a guy who would actually measure the length of a pop out. I have all of those but there is one documentary called IMAX Under The Sea that has some pop outs and great depth. Jim Carey is the narrator, not the best choice. All of the Attenbourgh stuff is beautiful and he is great but they're without pop outs.

@@jz6491 I’d try also Everglades 3D strong 3D, if you like those manatees in some parts of the documentary they almost reach your nose! All New KSM documentaries have strong 3D.

WOW! I have over 250. I don't just buy anything anymore. Now I just search out both movie critics and customer reviews for pop outs before I buy. I love depth but most 3d videos only have depth or maybe just a couple of gratuitous pop outs.

Thank you so much for the kind words, yeah you're spot on regarding the light source , it's just too dark in the cinema, I've not seen Harry Potter & the Deathly Hollows in 3D so thanks for the heads up on that one , it's a shame that 3D movies are becoming hard to get and very expensive , I've seen Tangled and the Walk since I've done the video and they are reference quality 3D , thanks for watching

@@thekingdommovieschannel Thanks for the reply, I went on Amazon Spain as you said in your review, and have ordered T.S. Spivet for just under £20 which seems a fair post-Brexit price. The most I have paid for hard to get films was £60 for Black Widow 3D from Japan and Godzilla vs. Kong £40. I hope they release ‘No Time to Die’ on 3D BluRay as they have already converted it to 3D for the foreign market cinemas.

Spivet now watched - excellent 3D. I’ve just watched ‘Legend of the Guardians’ - stunning 3D, gets into my Top 10, produced by Jack Snyder, yes, that Jack Snyder, this film might be over 10 years old but it’s still state of the (3D) art.

I bought mine eight years ago on Amazon for $33.98. The increase is due to supply and demand.
