Good video- I appreciate that you're putting these out at a pace that feels like it's actually catching us up and keeping up with what's happening. A major point that's becoming clear with these examples is that Ai changes the products that we'll interact with but it also will be what we interact with instead of some products or platforms (the Apollo example). So the big question is how we want to interact with our assistant and Humane is proposing some great ideas. An iphone is made for me to interact with info on the web using my fingers and my eyes. Ai means i can access that info in other ways.

Yeah a big part of this is in my opinion is that it will live underneath everything else. Its like how we dont know about the algorithm being used for google maps, but we use the navigation. I think right now everyone is interacting with gpt in a very up-front kind of way, but in the future I think it will be far less obvious. Like news articles or video content will just be created by LLMs and such without anyone knowing. Think about getting suggested a new channel on youtube based on your watch history. You watch a video and its pretty good, you subscribe, but that video and all comments on it etc are all manufactured by AI. Your experience is you're watching some new documentary style youtube channel, nothing new, nothing involving AI or LLMs. I think this will all just exists underneath a lot of things. The hiring/application process, news and information, entertainment, social interactions etc. Anything that can have this type of content injected into it will do so but you wont be typing text into a prompt to make it happen, it will just exist like everything else exists now.

@@DisentDesign yeah 100% just saying like, we don't consciously experience advances in say the transmission of electricity. But we all use electricity all day long. Right now people are 'making sparks' using these LLM tools. Everyones looking at who can make the largest spark. We are researching ways to build different kinds of sparks etc. But I'm guessing long term that there will just be ai under everything. So like, the same way most dont realize how the transmission of electricity works and they don't understand what has changed over time, they still flip the lightswitch on, they still boot up a computer. I imagine in time, people will be using tools that are powered by LLMs without really acknowledging that its actually an LLM.

4:32 Holy shit... that is awesome. That would be worth implementing in games. I just had the early trailers for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 in my mind which had terrible lip sync. God a combo of 4:04 Eleven Labs, 4:43 Flawless and 8:02 Meta Avatars and you make you own movies, games, twitch live stream, in character vtuber-esque avatars for TTRPG actual plays a la Critical Role pretty fast. And you don't even need to be a native speaker. It just translates for you and you can focus entirely on your performance. Wow. Imagine.

A few months ago I saw an AI generated video that was created by two people simply using a bed (for land), cardboard boxes (for buildings), and pillows (for mountains) as visual prompts to create an AI generated village mountain video scene. Have you seen anything like that before? I can’t find it anymore and would love to track down the tool used. Thank you in advance.

I would LOVE to see an AI tool that can actually manipulate a set of characters as instructed. If you find one, please let me know. Here is a copy of today's little run-in with ChatGPT. 11 Labs has had this technology for a while. There's a few videos where instead of hiring voice actors editors will simply create an artificial voice for background conversations or missed lines by actors. (Ironically one of the ladies from Orange is the New Black is one of these directors. )

yeah I'm really wondering if or how AI based photo/video/audio synthesis and generation is going to impact what constitutes legal evidence in a court of law, or if it will have any impact. I'm pretty sure with just what we have today, you could probably make a very convincing, if not indistinguishable video incriminating someone of something, or create something that would _just_ help you make your case. Imagine already having a decent amount of evidence, you could use AI to create just a bit more and that might be the difference in winning or losing a case, and paired with real evidence, it would be hard to know. I don't know anything about AI detection, but I'm curious what tools or methods we have available of detecting if something is AI. Isn't there AI that takes audio files and makes it more believable? like this stuff could get really sketchy really fast, especially at the rate AI is growing.

imo if AI can perfectly replicate the real thing, then by definition nothing will be able to tell an AI generated video from a real one; however, if there's even a slight tell that something is AI generated, even if humans can't catch it, AI would make an excellent tool to detect that sort of thing.

Please, can someone advice me? I need to know which app to use if I want to create videos for youtube with my own personal content, simple videos but I need lots of images to chose from as well as voices for the video audio, I need easy to use editing tools and effects. I see awesome effects here but that's way more than what I need. I give beauty and health advices. I want to make professional videos but not with that kind of creativiity I have seen in this video. If using something like chatGPT to write copy for a blog or a website what happens if someone uses the same prompts as you by coincidence? Will they get an exact replica of the copy? My concern is that when this type of software becomes so mainstream that 90% of people are using it, will it become hard to create unique copy using Ai?
