There's an extra detail that's easy to miss in the movie. Before fighting breaks out at the fancy dinner there is a gorgeous redhead in a green and white dress walking around. She is wearing special earrings known in the comics as a hunting license. they basically look like a zoom in of a spawns face. She is literally an Angel, out to hunt demons. It would have been really nice in the movie to see an Angel versus Spawn or Violator.

I think getting McFarlane on board for the cartoon, and also having it as directly tying into the comics helped. If they did make a Savage Dragon movie it’d probably just be watered-down and pandered more towards kids like the cartoon was. Mortal Kombat actually fits as a PG-13 if you follow the storyline. The fatalities are almost all non-canon. Barely anyone ever dies in the series, and if they do, it's offscreen between games, and always retconned away. If you check the story of the first game, the first movie is actually far more violent, as the only death was Scorpion burning Sub-Zero.

The fact that you mentioned Iced Earth and their album "The Dark Saga" just made me smile so big. I love them beyond words. They can do no wrong in my eyes.

I love that you have Orbital's track "SATAN" as the backing music Minty, even though it was in EVENT HORIZON, it would've fit this movie WAY better! And I proper love SPAWN! It got a bit panned for the CGI apparently looking really bad, but i like the movie still. And the comics. Nice vid Minty, nice one!!! 😄😄

The most amazing thing is the character design. Damn, that's a cool looking Spawn.
