Lets not forget that Peri's family definitely thinks she drowned given that she's clearly a fairly poor swimmer and her step father left her on a boat in the middle of the bay and then she was NEVER SEEN AGAIN since the Sixth Doctor left her on some alien planet. Her step father also probably got questioned by homicide detectives.

There is a great opportunity here for someone to start a true crime channel just focusing on these events, playing it totally straight and never mentioning the doctor.

A lot of these can be answered with UNIT came in afterwards and covered everything up. I mean we know that they still used the Valiant after the Master so they obviously were involved afterwards with that, it would be bit iffy whether Clara had access to UNIT to get their help with the boy, I imagine UNIT did loads of cover ups during the Pertwee Era and during the RTD Era so it wouldn't be crazy to expect them to come in after they track the Adipose to Adipose Industries either they shut down the companies entirely or just stabilised them allowed them to carry on, I imagine like the Doctor told Adam that he had to have a very isolated quiet life as to not draw attention to himself and if he did was probably picked up by Torchwood and was never seen from again, with Aunt Vanessa again it would likely be something that UNIT came in and covered up I doubt the police would actually admit to something that alien as an excuse for why Aunt Vanessa was missing and presumed dead, would Donna even be paying attention during the 2012 Olympics she never really seemed to pay attention or see those kind of things before the Doctor and I even if she saw the Doctor carrying the torch I don't imagine without context that it would break the block on the Doctor memories - if she did see the Olympic crowd disappear though I agree she would probably die.

I'll only address one, as it seems pretty obvious. Ian and Barbara never told anyone where they were going or why that night they disappeared. All anyone might think is that they went on their unannounced, out of the blue, and without warning two-year vacation at about the same time that Foreman girl and her grandfather moved away. Funny coincidence. People disappear all the time, and usually it's just a case of something came up suddenly and we couldn't wait around to tell everyone. But since you had to fill out a ten list, I guess it's fine.

Just to let you Brits know, the gujy you say is the presiden't, told the Maser that he was the "presiden't elect". Here in America, we add the modifier "elect" to the person who has won the election, but not yet taken office. So the guy the Master killed had won the presidential elecetion but was in that limbo time between election day and inauguration day. He had not yet become prsdient. So I'm sure if the person who was presiden't at that time was finishing up his first term and preparying to leave office because he had lost the election, then I imagin that he would have been ok with what the Master did. He could have used that as an excuse to declare martial law and never be removed from office until he was ready or until the military got fed up with him. I know, all of that seems dark, but since systemic collapse is a fascinating genre here, I would have liked to see that story.

I would argue that Donna would have probably not even watched the Olympics... especially as her mind got reset to a time before The Runaway Bride when she was in her own little world and was constantly completely missing the big picture...I feel like the Olympics could have easily not been on her radar. And as far as all of that, how would she have handled cubes randomly showing up everywhere in The Power of Three, Spoonheads talking over with the use of Wi-Fi, a blue Police Box getting flown in by helicopter to a museum, people getting 2-Ded by the walls, a random forest popping up, the dead rising from their graves as cybermen, Daleks working with the police...the Flux..? She'd never even seen the Master before The End of Time and everyone turning into the Master is what started to make her brain explode. What's to stop any of those other events from triggering something. Ok, I said too much. I'll be off then.

If Ian, Barbara and Susan had been the only ones to disappear, that would have been very suspicious. But as Susan's grandfather had also disappeared, it's a lot less of an issue, especially as the two of them had only arrived a few months earlier.

With Dan's house, by the fact he's organised a date with Di I assume he's been back since Flux therefore must have been at his parents. If he still had his shrunken house the Doctor might have been able to fix it but he probably lost it in the 1900's! Also guy next door still can't use his loo!

During the 2012 Olympics they never mention who carried the torch so she would only see the guy that was at her house when she woke up on screen, she wouldn't know who it was.

_Dalek_ may have been an Eccleston story, but the in-show dating puts it _after_ they steal Earth in Tennant's run. That means the timey-whimey stuff happened. There's a timeline in which _Dalek_ happened, and one in which the Daleks blasted open Van Statten's underground collection and killed everybody there. The timeline's a mess.

I don't share the opinion of yours that Dark Water/Death In Heaven were misjudged at all, but I also won't deny that #8 was really, REALLY insane on Danny's part. Did he think Clara would be welcomed into a country the UK was currently or had recently been at war with to return the boy? And how would she find the parents? When they first showed the flashback to the scene where Danny realizes he's just killed a child, I don't recall hearing anyone crying or screaming or mourning over his dead body, so I personally don't think Danny killed just the boy. As for the problem with Aunt Vanessa, my first question would actually be along the lines of "What kind of bonkers policemen would see what appear to be a pair of ordinary dolls and consider it something to be investigated?"

The Doctor leaving people to it is kind of addressed in the 1st Doctor story "The Ark" (3rd season of the Classic Series), when they leave in the TARDIS but materialise to find that they hadn't left things neat and tidy. Instead the statue being constructed earlier isn't of a Human but a Monoid - that was an excellent visual for the twist in the tale.

With Donna, The Doctor added a 'shut down switch', as shown with her interactions with the multiple Master's.

Speaking of the group of past companions - how did Graham find everyone? Kate even remarks that she might want to recruit some of them for some work, but... couldn't she have done that before already if she wanted to? If Graham could find them, surely UNIT could have. Especially since every companion has been brought to the Dark Archive.

I just rewatched the Runaway Bride, the Christmas special with Donna, and at the end the Doctor drains the Thames, ostensibly into the core of the world. Which is where the Raknoss ship he was trying to destroy was. You can't tell me that amount of water into the core didn't cause massive issues for the planet. Affecting the molten core motions, affecting gravity because a large body of water evaporates, affecting the weather cycle because the water is gone now. Any number of horribly things would have happened and it's never ever mentioned.

One thing I want answered is: When Rory, Amy, Clara and Bill died, who was told of there demise? In Ep 1 of Class, 12 sees that Clara is down as missing/diseased on a board in Coal Hill just under Danny’s name but who was told?

Three things that I always think about are that in Torchwood nobody died for an entire year yet no one ever seems to bring it up again, the cracks in time don’t really make sense because it’s only erasing major battles The Doctor has had, and finally the flux destroyed most of the universe but then they are just like let’s go on a beach vacation fam!

There's an epilogue written by Russell T Davis for (I think the novelisation of) "Rose" where after the Nestine Consciousness blows up at the end of the story, the explosion creates a sinkhole in the middle of the Thames and the London Eye falls into it with all of the people still inside...

I thought the whole "Donna can't remember or she'll die" was a clever lie... we see Donna remembering things, followed by an explosive burst of energy which renders her and others around her incapacitated, and having forgotten everything again when she wakes up. The Doctor even says to The Master that he built in some sort of failsafe, so he knew what would happen if she did remember. I'm 99% sure that the reason the Doctor tells Wilf and Sylvia that she would die is so they do everything possible to avoid her randomly blowing up their house.

I think for the brain thing there was an audio adventure where the character comes back as a villain briefly. As for the 2012 Olympics, the Doctor reset the universe in The Big Bang which was supposed to serve as an explanation as to why characters didn't know what things like Daleks and Cybermen were going forward. He'd removed most traces of himself from the history of the universe, which likely included him running the Olympic Torch

While everyone cries over how wholesome Danny’s sacrifice in Death in Heaven was, I, an overthinker, am absolutely losing my mind about how awkward it must have been for Clara to return a dead child to his parents in the Middle East. He’s been dead for, what, like 10 years? Maybe more? His family might not have been alive anymore. I’m sure he didn’t speak the same language as Clara (unless the TARDIS translation matrix was still with her) so there’s limited communication between them. She’d have to somehow figure out who and where his family was and get the money to get him there, and on top of all that, he doesn’t have any documents so she’d have to do all of this illegally. All that to bring him back to a place that is probably still devastated by war, possibly to discover that his family was dead. Sure, it’s a sweet gesture, but it’s the worst way that story could’ve ended. It would’ve been better to leave the kid and bring Danny back, and I’m saying that as a Danny hater.

The number 8 one is actually relatively easy to explain because all she would need to do is call UNIT up an tell them what’s going on and they’d handle it. Number 6 w/ Adam and the hole in his head is actually explained in a Doctor Who comic and Adam ends up dying.

I always kind of got the idea that UNIT would debrief the Doctor's companions after they'd been left and would act a lot like a clean up crew to help with these situations. Donna also seemed to be programmed to miss things when they happened. Like she wouldn't watch tv while the stadium went empty and only when things became unavoidable did she have that crazy surge of power that kept the Masters' from grabbing her. Still didn't really explain how long she stayed down on the concrete or if she just went back inside and acted like everyone went to a party she wasn't invited to.

I live in South Africa and primarily drying ones clothes in a tumble dryer is so not a thing! Even if people have a dryer, they usually only use it if there has been wet weather for more than a few days in a row. We pretty much always dry our clothes out on a line outside.

"Frontier in Space" ended with the revelation that the Master was working with the Daleks to start a war between Earth and Draconia. The Doctor is shot and sends a message to the Time Lords before collapsing. And other than involving the Daleks, the next episode, "Planet of the Daleks" doesn't build on it at all.

Rory and Amy must've had an interesting time when they were transported to the past by the Weeping Angel, with nothing but what they were wearing. Nothing of the "new" time period - no home, no money, no job, unknown to the authorities so no passport, no driving licence, no bank account...er, no taxes? :-0 But at least they were together. Presumably they made arrangements to be buried in that churchyard so the Doctor would see their tombstone.
