I think the way they made the singing in the car actually made it sound like how kids would sing without direction. The out of sync character to the song makes it more charming.

@@RustyOpel Like Linus decided to say a few words about the great pumpkin at the end of It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown said, "Unless he's dead! He's a very satisfied person to cook for!" in the middle of A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and Linus said, "Among the Charlie Brown in the world! You're the Charlie Brownest!" at the end of A Charlie Brown Christmas like they do in January 12 1999!

A bit of a correction. Vince Guaraldi ALSO sang in the specials "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" AND "There's No Time for Love, Charlie Brown". In those specials he sang "Joe Cool", though they were different versions with different lyrics.

I have a holly tree in front of my house that always has doves living in it. I frequently see hawks killing one that isn't cautious enough and carrying it away. It's really impressive to watch it swoop from way up in the sky. Nature.

The one thing that puzzles me about "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" to this very day is that Lucy is hardly involved with it at all (other than the football-kicking scene at the beginning, of course). After all, she is Linus' sister, and she didn't even accompany him and the other kids to Charlie Brown's grandmother's.

The Mayflower Voyagers isn't so much a "sequel" to A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving as it is the first part of a mini-series of specials called This is America Charlie Brown. The other episodes don't get shown any longer but in order to make a full hour of Peanuts animation, The Mayflower Voyagers gets added to the original Thanksgiving special.

I lost my interest in the Charlie Brown Specials. But the the one I really do like is the very first one, A Charlie Brown Christmas. In 1965 when it was first debuted on CBS I 9 years old. For some reason that is the one I really do enjoy. I have not seen it in many years due to the fact I do not subscribe to cable, or satellite TV nor I do have a outdoor or indoor antenna. For me it is Hulu, Netflix and KZfaq for my watching entertainment. I even have a smart TV and I don't even bother watching any of the free stations.
