My fav band of all time. Grew up seeing them live every tour, 7x total including front row center at summer anger tour and several unique shows for the summer sanatorium tours. Changed my life entirely by leading me to be a professional musician. Great memories of listening to them with my mom and dad so they could make sure they were safe to listen to at my age at the time. So thankful for the music and memories. Really great stuff and now I get to build that with my kids and they love it too.

Beyond jealous of you man. I’m 22 so I wasn’t able to see these guys in their prime. They’ve been my favorite band since guitar hero: metallica came out when I was a kid and I’ve watched so many of their concerts on YT. I’d give anything to watch Seattle ‘89 live. Those guys rocked the living F**K out of that place

Yes! I'm about 161kms from SF Bay Area, and there were so many gigs seeing early metallica play, or just hangin' out as fans! The thrash metal scene in the mid to late 80s was hella intense🤘🏼! The era when Cliff Burton was alive is the best imo. Cliff died, metallica got Jason New'kid' from Flotsam&Jetson, flotsam got Mike Spencer from Sacramento's Sentinel Beast, then I joined Sentinel Beast playing bass! Awesome bygone days🤘🏼!!! Oh, yeah, I also played bass for Heathen in that same time period. Dave the singer in Heathen is married to Kirt Hammet's sister! So, M.U.Y.A. There was one gig at the Kabuki Theater in SF when I made my own bootleg backstage pass lol, from the ride the lightning cassette cover insert. What about Exodus? Tom's drumming in early Exodus is just SAVAGE 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼 Songs sound great, as usual☆☆☆☆☆

The 80s are great! When Kristina covered Ace of Spades, she captivated me with her drumming so much that I became interested in 80s speed metal drumming for real. I discovered early records from Slayer, Exodus, Anthrax, Whiplash, Agent Steel, (I already knew some Metallica) and Rage and Crossfire from Europe . However, songs faster than Metallica's Battery or Dyers Eve are too fast for me, they start to bore me after a dozen or so seconds. I love Hit the Lights and Damage Inc the most. Love this drumming! @@pawemulak2878 crypta are my fav 'modern' thrash band. Love them🤘🏼. I'm sure I've heard Gamma Bomb, cool melodic classic thrash sound. And I left a comment on the Cattle Decap 'Chemical Warfare' Slayer cover two yrs ago. A channel i sub to is the New Wave Of Old School Thrash Heavy Metal. They have it all, from every country. (I can't ad links on my device). Awesome to see the younger generation carrying on the thrash/death/hardcore metal torch. I sometimes don't care for too too much blast beat intensity mayhem, sometimes less is more. That's the thing about music: it's subjective and everyone marches to the beat of their own drum🤘🏼

But my dream now is to watch and listen to Kristina Rybalchenko is drumming beats like this: 4:27 I hope that someday this dream will come true

Totally agree. The purpose of playing here is not to demonstrate skills and speed, but simply to play, and that's what music is all about, music is not speedway racing.
