The 2016 Survivor Series Weekend might have been one of the best wrestling weekends in history...

I would rank both the 2014 Team Cena vs. Team Authority and 2016 Men’s Raw vs. SmackDown above 2001 Team WWF vs. Team Alliance, but I’m also just glad they made the list. Those matches were so good.

2016 Team Smackdown vs Team RAW. Nearly an hour of pure chaos, storytelling and an EPIC RKO in mid air!

2001, 2003 (RAW), 2005, 2014, and 2016 (Men's RAW vs. SD) are all pretty fuckin good.

The men’s 2016 one is my favourite, one of my favourite matches ever. From a storytelling standpoint there is just so much stuff, I remember watching it and thinking it was the best thing I had ever seen

Team Cena v Team Authority is what got me back into wrestling after years away. Super underrated. Amazing match

Best part of the Winner Take All Survivor Series match was Rock and Austin’s duet in the build up.

The invasion may of been a mess but my god the match,the promo and JR just marking the hell out when the rock wins it's honestly perfect

Part of me kinda wishes they keep the whole Smackdown vs Raw thing for Bragging Rights or something else like that, but I feel it could work for Survivor Series if there's a stake on the line, whether it be the right for that brand's biggest match to main event Mania or the winning teams gets the no. 30 spots at for either Rumble match (e.g. winner of women's match gets the women's 30, and same for the men's match). Personally I do feel like Survivor Series has just become more like a "time for Brand Warfare cos it's November" but I do think there could be something more to it. I just miss the times where wrestling storytelling was more natural and focused on consistency rather than shoehorning must-see things to one particular show that may not have any consequence. Couldn't agree more with a lot of these picks however. In the end Survivor Series has become somewhat of a classic PPV and I kinda think, like the Royal Rumble but to a lesser extent, it is one of those PPVs you'll always feel annual hype for no matter what because of the elimination matches, and I guess for the Smackdown vs Raw thing that WWE keeps putting up with. Really excited for the prospect of a Roman Reigns vs Randy Orton main event with both men in the best momentum of their careers too.

I was there live at the 2014 Survivor Series. So glad that match made the list. It was a joy to watch.

My personal favorite: 88 when demolition turned Babyface, the tag teams in the match where great, fuji turned on them. Still think the conquistadors should have won by countout when powers of pain helped master fuji up.

Although the storylines have been bad, the modern ones are great!! Forgetting the amazing champion vs champion matches, last years Raw VS SmackDown VS NXT is the match that made me fall in love with Keith Lee.

Raw vs SmackDown vs NXT last year was fun (besides Walter’s early elimination)

I totally agree with number 1! Every now and then I'll go back and watch it. That 2016 match was also damn good! Both those matches show teams trying to get along for a common goal but there's dissension within at least one team and it just makes for good fun storytelling

This was incredible. Just went back and rewatched bischoff/Austin which is one of my favs but I hadn’t seen it in years. Jr and king are amazing here. King plays the heel until hbks comeback makes him have to turn. They are talking about how there is no way he can comeback. Even the elimination of Christian doesn’t do it. But when Shawn rolls up Jericho there is a Yelp followed by king screaming “I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE” gave me goosebumps for a match 17 years old. Phenomenal stuff. Thanks for reminding me Adam

Survivor Series 2001 took place in my hometown, and just so happened to be the last WWE event I've ever attended. There was no greater joy for me than seeing Rock pin Austin's shoulders to the mat. Hell, I was even okay with Vince celebrating afterwards. I must now go relive a great night of wrestling.

I'm sorry. Did he call J.R and Heyman the best announce duo? Heenan and Monsoon have a problem with that.

I still wont forgive WWE for not going all in on Dolph Ziggler after that epic performance in 2016

I really thought the 1995 wildcard match would be on the list. It was a simple concept of heels and faces mixed together on opposite teams, the booking was a master class in keeping everyone looking strong that needed it.

Team Orton vs Team Batista SS 2008 is so underrated. Regal early elimination, Kofi eliminated with Orton rop ddt, and the finish is absolutely fantastic.

Team Cena v Team Authority was the first storyline I followed and the first PPV match I saw. Not a bad introduction.

The best part of the 2001 survivor series elimination match is that social media wasn't a thing and kayfabe was still present...therefore the drama and tension were real in a big way Nowadays every ppv and storyline are either leaked or guessed

Survivor Series 2003 was one of the first PPVs I ever saw And I Loved this match

Am I the only one that is surprised the 2004 Raw elimination match isn’t on here 🤷🏻‍♂️ Thought the match was pretty good and the stakes of the winning team being able to run raw for the following 4 weeks, excellent stuff 👌👌

Honorable mention to the last few minutes of the 1996 Survivor Series when Lafon and Furnas vs Owen and Bulldog just start doing strong style.

Team Angle v. Team Lesnar. The latter was absolute monster-ific.

Adam that is a factual statement. Paul Heyman & JR on commentary was absolutely legendary. Lawler and JR was THE team to have on commentary, but honestly, JR and Paul, those moments they called are just so exciting. There aren’t many moments from them together. But I have one call for you. Team Kingston vs Team Orton was a really good one

I just watched the 2001 Survivor Series Alliance vs. WWF Match as a recommendation on Peacock and was mind blown. I can’t believe I’ve never seen this one before! Just kept getting better, and better, and better, and then suddenly we I see Austin and Rock pair off in one of their best matches of all time. I was like Damn!, that’s one of if not the best Survivor Series Elimination Matches I’ve ever seen. Went to this subscription to check the rankings and sure enough, number 1 :)

My favourite years of the undertaker were 1990-1993. I loved the way he would no sell his opponents offence and sit up like he did. Plus the agility of ‘ old school ‘ and the tombstone pile driver. Brilliant.

Men's Elimination match at 2016 Survivor Series was absolute bonkers. Almost an hour long but doesn't feel drag even for a tiny bit. Storytelling after storytelling with insane action damnit when WWE wants to deliver they do big time

The Survivor series match for 2018 and 2016 team raw vs team smackdown and team cena vs team Authority will always be my top 3 favorites

I think the Raw vs Smackdown vs NXT match was bloody fantastic, Walter getting squashed aside.

One of my favorite concepts, maybe not the match...but the Ultimate Survivor Match, I've always wanted them to do this again only have the Ultimate Survivor Match be between Raw and Smackdown, with the winning brand getting something like the 30th spot in the Rumble and the losing brand getting the number 1 spot

Would've liked to see Team Cena VS Nexus too, the first time we actually saw Daniel Bryan light it up on the main roster. and also it really gave relevance to Nexus.

I have always been a fan of elimination style matches, wish they were more common

I know you poked fun at it but I love the Team DX vs Team Rated RKO match is a favorite of mine DX, Hardys and Punk were my favorite people and seeing them just be awesome was enough for me.

Only one that was missing was raw men’s survivor series match 2004 (i know why, but i feel like it was great with everything that happened in it abs from it)
