Watching Walter get tagged in and chopping everyone in sight was like watching a kid tell his scary father about the bully in school and him beating the school staff, the lunch ladies and teachers until he finally found the kid

I would added Drew Mcintyre vs Roman Reigns at Survive Series. Watching this whole match I was like, this should be main event WrestleMania for the WWE championship.

I’m currently on a break from nxt, because it hasn’t been as good as we’re used to. But man, nxt is still such a great show.

One thing I felt like I wanted to say. I see that Adam says now after her amazing Women's Championship(s) run, that now WWE suddenly seems they got bored of Bayley. I would have to remind you that they used Bayley as the main champion (Charlotte for a few weeks to a month aside) from May 2019 to October 2020......over an entire year. Won the title at Money in The Bank when she was still in the babyface (kinda hugging not really) gimmick. Built up a heel run when Sasha came back to make her the side guard for Sasha transitioned her heel run to a new version of herself, then making herself the main Women's star of the company and Sasha being the back up for HER instead Carried the company with Sasha for a nonstop run of Smackdown, Raw, and NXT (here and there) appearances from after Mania to when they lost the titles to Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on a constant basis So when she lost the title from Sasha and slows down to a Midcard role.....WWE is bored of her? Not keen to that logic. Loving the list so far, I just wanted to bring that up. (Whether people think Bayley's run was overrated or whatnot (I did hear that during that time when she and Sasha were doing their thing with all the titles), STILL, gotta give her major credit and respect for going on that long like that. MAJOR props to Bayley)

Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso, Men’s Royal Rumble Match, Undertaker vs AJ Styles, Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre, The Fiend vs John Cena, damn, there were a lot of great matches in WWE for 2020.

The dragunov vs WALTER one, by gowd almighty, just listening those sickening chops back and fourth, those stiff suplexes, the scars on both chests, damn men it gives a ride to the sickening part of this beautiful art, it drives you to the most aggressive side of yourself ( I can picture myself at times having that kind of aggression on my rival) It’s surreal and I guess that’s what wrestling at times can give us. Pd gotta admit that halloween havoc alongside Revolution my favorite shows of the year.

I did a top ten list recently and I didn’t like it and changed my mind. Here is my new version. Side note, no cinematic matches #10 AEW Dynamite Brodie Lee Celebration of Life: Dark Order vs Inner Circle: whilst not the greatest match from an in ring standpoint (the action was still brilliant) the emotion in this match was absolutely perfect and incredible. There have been great tribute matches but this might be the best in terms of story and love to the guy they was paying tribute to. #9 AEW Dynamite September 2020: Best Friends vs Proud and Powerful Parking Lot Brawl: a very physical match that was very inventive and unique. The spots felt brutal and incredible to see. The ending with Trents mum doing the middle finger was really cool to #8 WWE Smackdown 2020: Aj Styes vs Daniel Bryan IC Championship Tournament Finals: both men’s best match this year. Very technical and great to watch. The finish was very good as well and I enjoyed Aj as IC Champion #7 WrestleKingdom 14: Will Osprey vs Hiromu Takihashi: an outstanding match. This wasn’t a spot fest, this was hard hitting and incredible action. This felt almost like a throw back to some WCW Cruiserweight matches with Eddie. #6 FTR vs Young Bucks AEW Full Gear 2020: maybe my favourite finish to a match this year. Whilst I didn’t like the build this was still a massive dream match and it lived up to the hype. This is a must watch for fans of tag team wrestling #5 Royal Rumble 2020: Men’s Royal Rumble match: this has a FANTASTIC story with Brock Leasner running through every one only to get stopped by Mcyntyre, Edge returning was not just the best Rumble return of all time but it was also excellent as it kept the momentum of the match going strong, Edge, Drew and Leasner are the best part of this Rumble, one of the best ever. #4 AEW Dynamite: Cody vs Brodie Lee Dog Collar match: This was one of my favourite matches of the year anyway and yes it was Lee’s last match and it’s probably helped it getting to this position but I think this match is outstanding and if you want a nice brutal match this is the match to watch and if you want to watch some good Brodie Lee matches this one is one of the best you will ever find. An excellent talent and I’m not taking anything away from Cody as well, he payed a perfect baby face to Brodie Lee’s perfect heel, Cody had his version of the Death of Superman which he confirmed in the interview and I felt it really added to this match as it gave it a darker feel like most sequels do with movies. This was brilliant #3 AEW Dynamite Kenny Omega vs PAC 30 minute Iron Man match: When Neville left WWE people wanted this match, when we got it at All Out 2019 it was brilliant but there was certainly more they saved, here it is, this is where people say New Japan’s Kenny Omega returned and whilst I think he returned when he beat Moxley I think this match shows what two of the best wrestlers in the world can do when you give them a good story in a match. One thing I like about these matches with Omega is all the falls connect to each other. For example, fall one Omega gets the first fall by DQ which PAC did on purpose to really hurt Kenny for the second fall in which he hits the Black Arrow. This move was not hit for the rest of the match because Kenny would have had to kick out which wouldn’t have made sense because he would have been more tired and when he was less tired he couldn’t kick out then. This was perfect #2 WrestleKingdom 14 Okada vs Ibushi: hard hitting and incredible, this has the best near fall of the year with the Rainmaker. I love this match. I honestly thought Ibushi was going to win at one point. #1 AEW Revolution Young Bucks vs Page and Omega: everyone knows why this match is good I don’t really need to say much more, the kick out of one by Omega after being hit by the Golden Trigger, Omega not being able to hit the One Winged Angel so Page does instead. It’s just brilliant. Maybe the best tag match with more tag rules (not counting the TLC matches) I have ever seen. HONOURABLE MENTIONS Walter vs Dragonof (I haven’t really seen it but people have labelled it as their match of the year) Firefly Funhouse match (I didn’t include cinematic matches but if I did this would have been on the list. A fascinating character study on one of WWE’s biggest stars in the past decade. It’s basically a short movie Boneyard match Styes vs Undertaker: I LOVED THIS. I knew WrestleMaina had about half an hour left when the match started and I looked at my clock and I knew the match didn’t have much longer left and I got annoyed. I didn’t want this to end. Chris Jericho and Sammy vs Math Hardy and Kenny Omega. I only see clips of DDP Pro with their insane stuff they do with guys zip wiring across fields to hit people to doing sunset flips down water slides to a guy riding an elephant as it kicks a football (I’m English) to the opponent to injure him if the impact. It’s very unique. Kenny Omega wrestled there with Kota Ibushi. This was a DDP Pro match in America. The golf cart chase is going to be one of Dynamite’s most iconic moments for years to come Edge vs Orton Backlash: really well worked, the whole using other guys finishers took me out of it a bit but other then that I thought this was basically outstanding. Bayley vs Banks Hell In A Cell 2020: just superb. Great action and very unique way to use the cell. This was a great payoff to WWE’s best long term feuds in 2020. Reigns vs Jey Uso Clash Of Champions: This is the match that really confirmed that Roman Reigns was going to be a great heel. He felt like a mega star and the story was brilliant. Jey Uso had a brilliant last quarter of 2020. Stadium Stampede: the most fun wrestling match of 2020. One thing I saw when this match happened was people going “imagine if they can fill this stadium one day”. God I hope so. This match is something I showed my dad and I enjoyed it. I loved it this because it was so silly and I think whenever you feel sad you can watch this and it just makes you smile. It’s wonderful.

That Okada VS Ibushi match made me not just a NJPW fan but put both of them in my top ten wrestlers in the world list instantly. I can't think of one match that made me realize how talented a wrestler was so convincingly as that war. I legit thought Ibushi snapped for a bit
