I agree about the cadburry chocolate. I went to Ireland for honeymoon and we brought back a giant cadburry bar and it is nothing like the stuff in North Carolina. Although if you can find any it's usually those gross cream filled eggs around Easter

Here in New Zealand, we call the teacakes 'Mallowpuffs' and yes they are awesome! You can get them in different flavours, double chocolate, caramel, white chocolate and they also come in large sizes. Very addictive!

Barry Lewis The saying being, 'Have you done enough for a Mallowpuff?' Some people bash them against their forehead to break the chocolate. I wouldn't suggest trying this. It hurts. Though breaking the chocolate in other ways can be quite fun. Like against a tabletop or something.

All the chocolate biscuit brands in Australia do their version, most people here would recognise them as a knock off of Arnott's Chocolate Royals. Also get sherbet-dipping lollipop things. Popping candy is hardly obscure or British. Same for Cadbury's, and I actually live in the city home to Australia's Cadbury's factory.

Yeah they are so good, im from scotland so i get to have these regularly! Btw alot of scots are quite rough, especially the children. So dont mess with a scottish highschooler. But the majority of us are nice, if you r from england or wales or n ireland or whatever. Or maybe you are a fellow scot. Sorry i wnt off topic, im a little wierd. But why werent they on the list?

What a fun video and you are soooo right about Cadbury choc, it is the best in the UK but, living so close to southern Ireland I have to say, I dont know what it is but its sooo much creamier than ours at home, its gorgeous!!! My naughty treat is a Cadbury flake ... a full one (dont judge..lol) placed in a big mug of hot choccie and melt into it as drinking it .... divine! Oh cant wait for the giant Tunnock Teacake...a box at Christmas is always my treat! :)

When you eat a Flake you are meant to completely open the wrapping so you can pick up the larger pieces and then fold the wrapper in half long ways and tip the crumbs into your mouth...☺😉 Or maybe grab a Twirl next time, it has a thin safety layer of chocolate all the way around, great for when you're travelling, driving, or simply don't have the chance to open onto a table etc...☺😉😘

Haha, reminds me of my first days in England, when I was LOST in the supermarkets because I would not recognise any product (beside vegs) ! I spent an hour and half wandering in an Asda and ended up buying some Coke and Walker crips because it was the only brands I was able to recognise. But after a while, I got used, and the thing I got hook up to, in the UK, are... jacket potatoes. Yeah, such a simple thing, but so convenient and good ! I'm wondering why I've never seen such a thing in France. Might need to come back in France and make a jacket potatoe business ! Root beers also are not in my home country, I tried it in the UK and now it's my daily drink ! By the way, your "French Fancies" are not found in France outside of bakeries. I'm amazed how much "French xxxxx" you can find in the UK that I've NEVER seen in my home country. I got really deceived some times, haha.

The twiglets look like pretzel sticks with spices on them. We have After Eight mints in the US. The teacakes look like our Mallowmars (yum!!). I love all the different crisp flavors you guys have, they're so yummy. (I tried the bacon Tatos and OMG!!!) Not sure if we have the Fondent Fancies here, but you can go to a bakery and get petit fours (dude! potty mouth) :( Love Hearts look like our SweetTarts We used to have something like the dibdab but I think they're gone Flying Saucers are completely new to me Poppin Candy is our Pop Rocks We don't have the range of Cadbury choc you guys have. I've only seen the cream eggs, the Dairy, the Caramel and the Nuts/Raisins. Sorry I did NOT like the Flake when I bought it in Ireland.. the texture was too odd for me

For something like dipdab in the states we have Fun Dip, which comes in a strip of paper wrapping usually with four different packets in a row. It comes with two compressed "sherbet" sticks and three different flavors of dipping powder (which always leads to conflicts when you are a kid!) and I used to love it when I was a kid, now I'd probably take one taste and go "welp that's enough sugar for me!"

Hey Baz, new subscriber here! Love your channel, you're very entertaining! I'm Australian and I've been able to find the majority of these goodies here in Sydney! I've tried at least six of those! My local supermarkets now have a small range of UK items and there are also specialty stores called The UK Lolly Shop and few other import stores in the CBD. Dip dabs are made by Barratt who also make Sherbet Fountains! I absolutely love them! Who knew that sherbet and black licorice go together?! Considering Australia's British heritage a lot of British lollies became popular here with older generations. You can still find Humbugs, Liverpool Rock and loads of gummy lollies but mainly in special import stores, and it's usually expensive per 100 grams (what isn't expensive here!) Sherbet UFO'S are still a classic with anyone over the age of 21 or so, many young kids are just fussy! They are getting a little hard to find though :( We get popping candy here, usually it's the American Pop Rocks or other cheap local brands or imports. I love Popping Candy in Chocolate! Australian Cadbury have this new Chocolate bar/block line called Marvelous Creations which is Dairy Milk Chocolate with different lolly/candy combinations embedded (Peanut Toffee Cookie, Jelly Crunchie Bits or Jelly Popping Candy Beanies are the main flavors) So Yum! They recently had a Jelly Popping Candy Beanies Chocolate Bunny for Easter! Have you ever tried Australian Cadbury Chocolate? I hope you know that each countries recipe is tweaked for local tastes! Just like Milo is! Love Hearts usually come out around Halloween (which is becoming more popular here now) in half size rolls and are usually in party bags with 3 different flavors of mini Refreshers, Fruit Salad lollipops, those hard round sherbet lollipops and Parma Violets. Parma Violets remind me of our Musk Sticks. Tastes like perfume!

Oh, I forgot to ad to my comment that we have a limited edition Mint Flake available in supermarkets at the moment, and the Refreshers in the party packs are the pink, blue and yellow chew bars and there's also Drumstick lollipops in there too!

we have those tea cakes in germany too but they are much bigger and have many different kinds of chocolate around it. We call them mohrenkopf. You have to try them when you're in germany someday.

After Eights are the only chocolate mint I like. The mint creme is thin and the dark chocolate compliments it wonderfully.

I live in England and have never seen those Fondant cakes. I've had other Mr Kipling exceepingly good cakes but never heard of the fondant cake until Barry made a giant version of it.

I think After Eights are called that because they are suppose to be used as a posh after dinner sweet. The catering industry buy these in big 800g packs for restaurants, curry houses and whatnot.

In Norway we can get Jaffa Cakes (different brand, but still the same), love hearts, After eight, flying saucers, and a simmilar thing to the dib dabs (I think) it's called Double dip and instead of the lolly it's a "swizzelstick" and the dip is ornage and cherry flavoured. bought it almost every weekend when I was a kid.

Tunnock's Tea Cakes remind me of Moon Pies. They are similar. Moon Pies have a wafer both top and bottom, marshmallow in the middle, and covered with milk chocolate. Probably not near as good. They keep FOREVER though! :)
