I've got the same Per Welinder deck set up as a cruiser with indy 169s, 1/4in risers and 60mm 78a wheels. It's a blast to rip around town on.

Oh man, this is so great. I'm a 43-year-old mom trying to remember/teach my 11-year-old daughter the few tricks I learned as a kid in the 80s. 😁😁Love the 80s style board too. I remember my uncle teaching me the "popcorn," although I didn't know the name for it and some other trick sort of like a rail but I remember having one foot below the board while it was standing on its side, then flipping it and landing on top??

My go to trick when I was first starting was something similar to the popcorn. Kind of a "casper" variant? I'd start on top of the board then roll it over onto my feet, then I'd move my one foot on top of the tail and the other underneath against the bolts. Then I'd lift so neither foot was touching the ground and be on the tail grip tape down. And then jump and scoop inward with my foot on the tail so it would flip 180 lengthwise and land on it.
