Fellowship - The Saberlight Chronicles is a fairly recent one that deserves to be on a list like this. Like A Flame to the Ground Beneath, it's another very well crafted power metal album.

Personally, an album I would recommend are Februus by Uneven Structure. It is easily the greatest djent album made in my opinion. It’s not the most technical album, or the most progressive, but for me, it is the soundtrack to space itself. The first time I heard Frost, I began to bawl my eyes out just because it was such a beautiful piece. I recommend listening to the version on KZfaq, as you also get some amazing ambient

If there's gonna be a part 2 and more and if you're open to suggestions, please mention this albums as well Dan Swanö's Edge of sanity crimson 1: progressive melodic death metal with elements of folk and Swedish death metal. Mikael Åkerfeldt of opeth does backing vocals on this album

Finally someone actually talking about EC. Saw them live and it sounds better than the album... and of course Lost Horizon is excellent as always. Some albums I'd recommend: Electric Elite by Riot City Time Immortal Wept by Legendry The Knightlore by Vultures Vengeance From Western Shores by Gatekeeper The Hyperborean by Fer de Lance Might and Power by Megaton Sword And I think Towers of Gold by Sacred Outcry for that Daniel Heiman fix, even though its not as good as Lost Horizon its still pretty good.

I love Digital Veil. Starting off the video strong. I'm not quite as into Power Metal or Post-Hardcore influenced stuff as you are, but these are all interesting picks, and I can see they are quality. And yes, I'd be interested in a Brutal Legend video. I'll likely never get around to making one myself. Haha.

Nocturne, Advance and Vanquish, and Beyond the Permafrost are some of my old favorites from high school. I still listen to them pretty frequently. Also, I'd like to nominate Mercenary's The Hours That Remain as an unofficial number 11.

Two awesome albums I never hear anyone talking about are Stormwitch - Stronger Than Heaven (80’s heavy metal goodness) and Slugdge - Esoteric Malacology (I don’t know what genre that is but it’s heavy, about slugs and it’s delicious). Highly recommend both. Also Cthulhu Dawn is a masterpiece of a song.

Wow! Im surprised to see someone mentioning lost horizon! I never got super into power metal in general, but they are super good and former luciferion member(s?) lead guitarist from poland i believe. I also checked out novelists which blew my mind and by far the most solid suggestion here! Erra was dope too

Great video. Man Nocturne was such a great album. I would highly recommend the band Mendeed and their album The Dead Live By Love. It is such a killer album not a bad song on it. Also its super underrated hardly anyone I know has even heard of them. Check it out.

None of these really pique my interest. I did listen to 3 Inches Of Blood in my early teens quite a bit though. Cam's vocals are a bit too much for me these days. XD I don't understand how Protest The Hero isn't on Dream Theater's level though, literally every album from Kezia onward is wonderful. I can only think of a couple songs that have weak moments. They deserve to be at the top of progressive metal.

I just watched your entire Metallica Vs Megadeth vid: very fair and well done sir. I tried to get into 72 seasons but simply couldn't....'metallibloat' once again, yawn! Keep doing your videos mate... from the UK.

Guess it's a matter of personal preference because there's nothing here that resonates with me. But to be fair I dislike metalcore, powernetal, or glam. And while I don't dislike melodeath, I dont enjoy it either. Prefer my death metal without all the melody lol.
