What the national media hasn’t mentioned is that this was a “revenge act”, in my state it's on the news. On the barrel of the gun was marked with a slur and the name of a “Virginia sorenson”, and “reparations”. But who is Virginia Sorenson? November 21st, 2021- a black man named Daryl Brooks drives his SUV and plowed through a parade of white ppl in Wisconsin and killing and injurying multiple, Virginia Sorenson was one of the victims. Daryl Brooks did what he did cause of the verdict of Kyle Rittenhouse who is from Wisconsin and he deemed it a "revenge act". Seems this was some crazy revenge act in retaliation to what Daryl Brooks did and the media doesn’t want to report that in fear that it will cause more “revenge acts”. This is all crazy, innocent people dying die to these racially motivated revenge acts.

I live in Buffalo NY, so this touches me very personally, especially knowing that this supermarket my 79 year old dad was going to that exact market. He missed the shooting by 20 minutes! So, I tell everyone who are reading these comments, NEVER think it couldn't happen to you, or the people you love. RIP to all the victims and their families.

They actually want to die doing something like because they're mad so they don't care about capital punishment or not. As an European point of view (I'm an Italian living in Spain) i really believe US government should really restrict the sale of weapons. I understand that they are meant for self-defense and I agree with that, anyway I think that the companies selling Weapons should issue like a sort of personal life investigation and a psychiatric analysis in order to understand to which kind of human being they're just selling a fire weapon.

I couldn't imagine just going to my neighborhood supermarket and then facing death right in the eye from a crazy shooter. I always pray every time I leave my house because you just don't know what the day may bring you. My condolences to all the family and friends who have loss love ones because of this Mass shooting. We had active shooter in high school here in my town 20 years ago. We immediately ran out the door grabbed our kids and all businesses shut down. I've never been the same. This man wrote an entire 180 page document on how he was gonna execute this mass shooting in fear of a “racial takeover”. We must create stricter gun law to protect our people. I was surprised, saddened, had not been to my closet neighborhood SAFEWAY in a while because the shopping carts are always missing, replaced stolen again and these are near $100,000. Homes/Rentals 1bdrm 1800 a month 2bdrm 2800 and so forth and things of that nature. I have to travel by public bus miles away for a 🧾🛒. Well....3 armed guards 2 stationed outside and 1 after checkout where they buy cigarettes , pay bills, 🚭. I notice most neighborhoods don't have such extreme measures I have seen broken store windows time to time. I have been shopping at that chain since before I was conceived vis my mother and father. 60 years damn near. I have never seen the city I chose to relocate to in such decay. BUT Great is the Lord and I have gratitude for never experiencing that situation. Although something serious has happened at SAFEWAY at that particular store and shopping plaza. The one they jam you up to sign petitions at and when you tell them o I retired from voting they get aggressive like a pan handler. I stopped because once when I listed my address SOMEBODY broke in my tiny home. Saw I didn't have nothing. Effin Nutz!

If possible, DO seek support from others, including mental health professionals. All local mental health department use a "sliding scale" payment range. Meaning: the amount you pay depends upon your income & living expenses. Many colleges & universities offer free or reduced mental health services to the public. The services are provided by *supervised* senior psychology/psychiatry students. (You needn't be a student to receive counseling.) A surprisingly large number of counselors, therapists, & even psychiatrists now offer electronic options such a texting, calling, & video conference. Even small local libraries have books with useful & understandable advice & practices to help those of us with mental &/or physical challenges. Same here. I feel it when I see my little boy. Imagine you’re killed by some stranger who thinks highly of himself and your little boy and wife never seeing you again. Or even worse, imagine your wife and boy went out to the market and get gunned down by that stranger. My friend lost his daughter 10 years ago to a guy shooting his gun outside his car for fun. She was 14 and he lost his mind when he saw her body in his front yard with a bullet hole in her cheek. He is now a homeless man lost in his pain and agony from the loss of his daughter. Something that I feel we are closer to experiencing any day now..
