This is a prime example of why you should copy/backup your worlds often! Like my older sister said to me when i almost destroyed my java 1.16 world. "When you are using command blocks you better know what your doing!" If your gonna experiment with commands do it in a brand new world. I once was talking to my friends about the theoretical fastest way to crash your game with a single command block and nothing else. I instantly thought of overloading the game with entities, something like "for every zombie alive: summon another zombie" . effectively this just duplicates the amount of zombies alive over and over again. this would crash your game as soon as a zombie spawned. but I wanted it to instantly crash! I have done the auto survival mode and auto kill in my testing minecraft world and you cannot play it whatever you do. I just use blocktopograph app to change the data of that command block so I can play that world again.
