But the novels also give a chance to introduce new characters we never even see in the movies. Reading them will almost make you want to see these stories play out on the big screens, especially after you notice all the big differences between the “Descendants” books and movies! Seriously, Mal, Carlos, Jay, Evie, and even Uma are definitely not the same on paper.
