@@friendlyotaku9525 What obvious mask where? I don't think anyone is "wearing a mask". The sight gag actually isn't that difficult to do. They film the location shot with the one master throwing his hat. Film the same location again, leaving the hat in the spot where it landed so the second Master can then pick it up. You then rotoscope the two together in editing so the hat that would already be on the ground in the second take isn't visible until the moment where it would have landed there in the first take. Easy. All the other Masters could have been filmed in front of a blue screen and added in later since they never interact. There is a slightly visible cut in the film between when the hat lands on the ground and the Master noticing it where they clearly stitched together two different shots of the same location. BTW I've done a similar thing on my channel where I threw some things to MYSELF and I didn't have any extras in masks. I filmed myself actually throwing things onto a couch that was just out of frame then I film myself throwing things up in the air and catching them, cut out the part where I was already holding the items to begin with so you only see me catching things mid air. This gives off the illusion of throwing things to myself even though I'm actually alone and not actually standing in two places at once. I also made things easier on myself by having the camera move so the two mes were never on camera together. The hardest thing about that shot is just actually lining up what was actually two different shots so they line enough to be virtually indetectable from each other.

@@RialVestro While that technique was used for a lot of those scenes, distant shots like that were indeed people with masks. It's talked about in one of the behind-the-scenes things.

The Hoix from Love & Monsters made an appearance on Torch wood in the series 2 finale Exit Wounds. One was found in a hospital basement and Owen distracted it by giving it a pack of cigarettes to snack on (Owen borrowed them from a doctor) so Owen could sneak up behind it and tranquilizer it.

@@friendlyotaku9525 I mean part one where he delivers that nonstop monolog and is caught in a time loop. That episode is BAD. It is Awful and it is kind of unnecessary. If it wasn't for the tag on the end where he arrives on Gallifrey the episode it would be pointless. Part two is actually a hidden Gem. It has a plot that makes sense and you can tell what is going on. Over time will likely hold up much better than part one.
