Dragon Ball has been on the scene since 1984, and since then fans have fallen in love with the series. From its humble beginnings as a manga, to its transition to anime, and to its multiple theatrical film releases, the Dragon Ball series has truly stood the test of time. Loyal fans have stayed with the series for decades, and with the continued release of content, it seems that we will be enjoying Dragon Ball for years to come. We have video games like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 for PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, Dragon Ball Fusions for the Nintendo 3Ds, and Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle for android and iOS. Of course, we are also getting new content from Akira Toriyama himself with his latest series Dragon Ball called Super. Dragon Ball Z has become an iconic anime and a must see for anyone new to anime or fans of shows like Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, and Attack on Titan. Between Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo, and all of the other protagonists, there’s no shortage of people to attach to. There are plenty of awesome villains like Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu to keep things interesting, too. Plus with all of that content comes even more content from the fans as well. With all of the fan fiction, fan art, and especially fan theories, there is no shortage of DBZ goodness to keep you occupied. Some theories are even so impactful, they could change everything about the series past, present, and future.

Quantu // Quantum1338 actually Android 18 became a a human, because of Krillin as he made a wish to change the two Androids. So the fan theory for Bulma’s mom being an Android really doesn’t make sense...

Drakan DarkLord Here's what was said, Gohan saw Yamcha as a child and thought his hairstyle looked cool so he emulated ALL of his hairstyles. Simple makes sense. Only hole is the bowl cut Yamcha had later on. Gohan like all of us as kids were naive ans thought Yamcha was cool....as kids.

Tien and Launch could have taken on King Poccolo if Goku wasn't around (can't you read?). Tien's the strongest human ever who has devoted himself to martial arts and knows kikoho and Launch has a machine gun so, against them, King Pikachu would have been no match.

Without Goku, tien would never have become good. Tien becoming good because of Goku is what led to him having the motivation to become as strong as he did. Around the time that Piccolo came around even his henchman could kill Tien. Who is to say Piccolo would not hunt tien down before he became a threat like he did with pretty much everyone else?

How would Piccolo have gotten out of the rice cooker if Goku wasn't around. He was set free by Pilaf who was desperate for a way to stop Goku. If Goku didn't exist Pilaf would have become ruler of the world and not broken the seal. RR army would have come in and just killed Pilaf later and ruled the world.

My theory is that Xeno isn’t the most powerful character but a Namekian. When a Dragon Clan Namekian creates a Wish granting dragon and required dragonballs they are usually proportional to the Namekian that created them along with what that Dragon is capable of granting. Now look at the super dragonballs, Xeno says it can grant any wish and nothing is too taxing on the dragon meaning that the Super Dragon has an infinite reserve of power or has so much of it that there would literally be no possible wish that could surpass it like bringing back 17 entire universes in the blink of an eye. Thus the Namekian that created that must have the same amount of power.

Well unlike many other anime Dragon Ball doesn't have a single being that can create and destroy at will like Anos or Rimuru, Zeno can destroy universes but he can't warp reality unlike Super Shenron, who can technically warp reality like many op anime characters but someone needs to wish for it, sure maybe Daishinkan (grand priest) might be able to both warp reality but he isn't on the same level as Super Shenron or Zeno.

It was somewhat of a translation error. Android 17, 18, and 20 fit the sci-fi description of Cyborgs much more than Androids, and the were referred to as 'Artificial Humans' in japan. 16 and 19 are straight up Androids though.

17 and 18 were humans before they were turned into robot, she still has human parts. That's why she is able to reproduce. For the Bulma's mother being an Android theory to make sense, that means Bulma's father either have to kidnap his wife to turn her into an Android, or she has to be a fully artificial robot like 16, which blows the theory out of the water.

A little but to late to reply but none of this are a reason why they couldn't turn ssj. No matter what strength you have or who trains you they still would have been able to turn ssj. The only reason why they didnt was because toriama didnt have the idea of ssj at that time.

Well for vegeta that makes sense ( also u left out s Cells, generated from the kindness of a sayain and required for ssj), but for goku, in the original series it stated he had a pure mind of kindness, so he should’ve generated s Cells from that to become a ssj anyway. Maybe for s cells to activate, you have to reach a certain point that goku didn’t as a kid, idk, but it’s confusing.

3:58 Android 18 and krillin didnt make a baby out of technology. They explain in the show that android 17 and 18 used to be humans named lapis and lazuli. They were turned into androids but still had human in them. Also krillin even wished for them to be human back at kamis place.

No goku = World ruled by red ribbon army and ruled by King Piccolo. King Piccolo kills Goku = He rules the world, raditz comes and kills him after Goku is nowhere to be found. Saiyans obliterate earth's population for Frieza. Vegeta is killed or serves Frieza for eternity, never learning of the dragon balls nor reaching the power required to kill frieza. Assume Gero survives = Androids stay hidden long enough to kill new planet occupants since Piccolo would destroy the Red Ribbon Army, nothing changes. Worst case scenario, Frieza hears about threat, androids unable to stop frieza from completely annihilating earth because they can't sense him coming. Androids die in the process. #friezarulesyouall

did anyone else notice that even though Krillin stopped training as hard after marrying 18 he was consistently still getting stronger? then he put a tiny amount of serious effort and was able to make goku go blue. I suspect that sexual contact with android 18 may be modifying his body with nano-technology. she tech is already confirmed to be able to fuse with beings even without a fusion dance and be able to unfuse automatically even after significant damage. cell's body was blown in half multiple times and she's at least as big as half of cell. this proves her tech can copy itself. there's no way 100% of her parts took 0% damage fight both goku and gohan while 17 also took 0% damage on top of that. this means her parts can be duplicated while integrated with the bodies of other organisms. Krillin might technically be half android now and not saying anything about it. look how his power skyrocketed. regular ssj should house him, but he pushed him to blue. something is up.

Not to hate on you dude but more than likely that is actually how the name was originally pronounced by the creators. In japanese the A sound is more like "ah". So in Japan where the show was created it probably sounds like how he pronounced it. Not sure if it was intentional though

The thing about Frieza is a theory, meaning it has evidence to back it and has yet to be contradicted. You know, the definition of a theory. Krillin, however, is not the best fighter by any definition. Goku is stronger and Piccolo is smarter. Gohan can't be proven either way, so while a plausible hypothesis, not a working theory.

No, because if Goku hadn't existed he would not have been sent to earth, Raditz would most likely have gone to another planet that was closer to his team(Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta). Raditz. was likely not too far from the two other saiyans when he left for earth, so unless he had a reason he would not have spent an entire year to head fro ONE remote planet in the middle of nowhere. He'd head for a closer planet or just stay with Nappa and Vegeta. Which means None of the three would ever have gone to earth.

Without the tournament of power, Zeno was planning to erase the eight universes with the lowest mortal ranking, Universe Seven being one of them. As a result, all of Universe Seven would be erased from existence without Goku. I'm pretty sure a little destruction of the Earth here and there isn't as bad as being erased forever.

A; Freeza went to earth to kill Goku and got obliterated by Future Trunks, B: Future Trunks timeline was not yet erased when Goku appeared, making it likely that Goku sped up the process of destruction at the hand of Zeno by quite a lot, mabye he even changed his mind in FT timeline.

There was a time before DBZ, chances are that earth would be in the hands of the Red Ribbon army or King picollo without Goku. Even if the team would have been able to defeat them chances are that Gero survives and builds cyborgs to fuck everything up. And then there is also Freezer who conquers planet after planet , he would reach earth eventually. So without Goku not only earth but the whole universe would be fucked.
