I want to nominate Cryosyasis. It's a 2008 Ukrainian game set on a Russian nuclear tanker ship frozen in the artic. You're reliving an old tragedy trying to alter the outcome, as the ship is haunted by the specters of the past. Sounds cool, but you move about 1 foot every 10 seconds, and jump about 3 inches, and platforming is not uncommon throughout. Still a memorable game, but it was dumb and painful to play!

Now see that sounds like it'd be an awesome game if done correctly. It sounds very similar to a game called Return of the Obra Din, which WAS actually well executed. Why bother with half-assed platforming when your story can stand on its own?

Anthem was painful for me. Boring combat, basic and repetitive mission, awful story, and mediocre loot that all looks and feels the same. It was a proof of concept sold for $60. I don’t know how it doesn’t count as fraud.

ok, wow.... I think that shitty detective game wasn't just voiced by AI, but written, programmed, and produced by AI. I think the only human interaction in its creation was someone slicked the Start button on their screen to make the AI make the game.

Yeah forza horizon 5 is still £50 and that is not a new game but I have noticed it goes on sale for half price sometimes so one of these days I’m gonna get on sale I’m not paying £50 for it 😏
