I remember "Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles" on PSP had fully playable versions of "Rondo of Blood" and more importantly "Symphony of the Night" on the disc. Arguably the best Castlevania game ever made, and it never released on PSP except as a hidden collectible that unlocked the full game in the extras menu of a kinda mid remake of an older game. I’d like to point out that the reason people fell for those fake tips and tricks in the 90s/early 2000s was because back then kids weren’t chronically online and didn’t have access to reliable information about video games as much as we do today so people just assumed that anything was possible because it was also that case that a lot of people back then were new to video games so people were way easier to trick compared to today where your seen as uncultured or an idiot If you don’t know certain things about video games because literally billions of people are now veteran gamers

The easter egg in number 9 would also happen in ATV off road fury. After a bit of google searching both of those games were developed by Rainbow Studios. ATV off road fury was the only demo we had with our original PS2. We played the shit out of it back in the day. When I saw the invisible wall throw I was hit with big nostalgia.

about the cow lvl: back in Diablo 1, there was a cow in Tristram. It was clickable, and it had a 'moo' sound when clicked. Since there is so few interactive NPCs in D1, that sparked a rumor there was a "secret cow level" which you could achieve by clicking the cow 50+ times or whatever. That's where the rumor started, and when D2 came out the rumor persisted.

I fully believe that Motorcross Madness was the origin of the word yeet.

I like how they made a very elaborate puzzle only to reveal that the people who solved it will be dead whenever the easter egg is concluded

Halo one. There was a wall on final escape that had bloody birthdays written on it with initials if I remember correctly. You had to fail a jump on driving just to find it.

Right after the Cow Level easter egg, KZfaq served me an ad for some plant-based butter which “didn’t pass through cow’s digestive system” (or something like that). And at the end of the ad there was a cow (with no weapon tho).

I remember battlefield 4 had really complex easter eggs that would take the community months to solve but they would result in stuff like spawning the megalodon.

I remember towards the end of the N64's life cycle a gaming magazine published an actual paper back book of cheats you could buy with the magazine collecting every single cheat they ever published. In it was how to unlock literally everything in GoldenEye. The 4 bond skins included. My brother and I got all the cheats and it breathed years of new life in to that game. God I miss those days when games were games.

One bizarre easter egg I found was in the original fallout 1 game. Right at the start after the cinematic where you leave vault 13. In the ominous background ambient sounds there are sections of speech that is distorted and reversed. If cleaned up and played backwards you can hear a womans voice saying "Help. I've got to escape. I miss him again" I was mind blown when I found it. I tried to do the same with the male voice that plays but its so distorted I couldn't make it out

The thing with keys hunting that one opens the box , its a chrono capsule , from the finish of tower of Eiffel in its base it has a chrono capsule ,and actually lot many places ( mostly landmarks) have a chrono capsule ,even the acropolis of athens has a chrono capsule.

The motocross easter egg reminds me of a similar thing in jet moto. On the first map if you run full speed into the back of the first ramp it launches you like a thousand feet across the map. My best friend and eye would just keep doing that over and over for hours, laughing out asses off the entire time.

16:38 that is probably gunna be forgotten about cause to even have a vague chance of living to see that you'd have to be born early enough so you can still play the game and work with the Easter Egg stuff, but still young enough so you can live long enough to potentially see that, but at the same time even then you'll probably not live that long, the company can possibly dissolve before then, and unless someone gets some ways to greatly extend our lives and memories then likely the Easter egg will be forever forgotten by then.

The pokemon red/blue legit way to get mew has gotten pretty popular over the years since it come out. I use the process anytime i do a replay now, and it works on emulators too

San Andreas had a few such mysteries. One was something about a ghost car. People claimed to have seen a solo car going around, and when they caught up, nobody was driving it? I think that's what was said, I was browsing GameFaqs in those days, and have forgotten the details. I know there was at least one other big rumor similar to BigFoot and the Ghost Car, but I've forgotten what it was.
