Curly didn't have "iconic" curly hair. He was shaved bald... *You Nazti Spy* wasn't their first movie, it was made in 1940, years after they'd started A couple of your pictures are of Emil Sitka in the "Larry" role, which he didn't get to actually film because Moe died, but you didn't even mention him. Very disappointing video. I notice those 3 things in a quick glance. I bet there are even more mistakes.

Yes Curly did sport a full head of hair in the early years of the Stooges but eventually shaved his head for comedic effect in the short films. This was not a motion picture but a comedy short so no not their first movie. Those would come in the late '50s.

@@goplad1 Early days, not years. Maybe even hours. He never had hair as Curly. He obviously meant Larry when referring to iconic hair.

You Nazty Spy was not their first film.. if I remember right, Woman Haters was their first film apart from Ted Healy.

How sad. At least Bela Lugosi Jr was there to intervene with the suit and all the pain and violence with dangerous stunts and implements that they used and went through. I loved them. So sad about Jerome Horowitz. Harry Cohn was a monster letting Curly work despite having gone through the pain of a stroke and Cohn should have been sued. I didnt know that Lucille Ball was in a shory with them. At least they nrought a lot of laughter to people especially during the Great Depression. Cohn was a dictator and that would be considered harrassment today. They deserved money from the shorts and Cohn shouldnt have pocketed their money which they earned. Jules White shouldnt have used stunts and violence. Today he would have been arrested or charged with bodily harm .

Larry Fine later claimed that they got along with Cohn and that they were amongst the very few who did. Go figure.

He had waves of curls, not a tight bunch of curls but his hair was definitely not straight

@@johannadavis7594 Wrong. Moe’s autobiography clearly references Curly’s hair right before he shaved his head to become part of the act and he said Curly did not want to shave off curly locks at first. Moe also had long curls as a child. Stooge historians know these facts. Do some research

@devin6116 Wrong! His " curls were NOT iconic." He was NOT known by the public for Curly hair. EVER! He was known by the public for a shaved head. He shaved his when he began working with Ted Healy and his brothers. Long before they became simply " The Three Stooges" .

Why is there almost nothing about the comedic roles and styles of Shemp, Joe Besser and Joe De Rita?? Why does the whole history of the team ignore their roles and show few photos of their roles? Not so faaaast! Bibibibibi.... what do you mean they "hid" from their fans?:And that presumably excludes Shemp, Besser and De Rita....
