Every new season sees the return of some surprising fashion trends and I absolutely love it when I simply didn't see those trends coming. No matter how many trend forecasts your read of how many fashion shows you watch there always seem to be new trends that seem to have come out of nowhere. Many of them are so niche that I either don't really like them or can't see the point spending my money on a one season wonder but sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised. So today I decided to share 10 new trends that I really didn't see coming but I'm pleased they did because I actually really like them and was hoping you may find a new trend to try too. I've also teamed up with Urban Revivo in today's video and they sent me a selection of pieces to try which was fun. I'd love you to tell me which pieces you think work on me and which ones don't. There is one piece that I actually wouldn't wear so I'd love to see if you can pick it. Let me know what you think in the comments below. By the way what are your favourite Fall 2022 fashion trends? I like the all black tweed jacket, it goes with everything! I have a black, grey and white one and I don’t wear it as often because it’s black/ white/ grey, I also have a navy/ red/ white one that I wear with jeans, I really like the black dress you were wearing! I also have laced up pointy ballets flats, and get a lot of compliments every time I wear them! I also have gold metallic booties, and rose gold flats and matching bag that I’m planning to wear with jeans! Thank you for sharing Leonie, I really enjoyed your videos, and the great ideas! Your try on segment was excellent! I have long coveted the haute couture Chanel look (absolutely drooled over the 22 fall show) but never needed the head to toe formal look. Your pairing the tweed jackets/bags with casual denim was an inspiration!

New to Urban Revivo too but bought a pair of pants following your video. My pants turned out perfection, the material is so soft, half of the pants are lined inside, the fit is impeccable and the price was good for the quality I got. I measured twice before I ordered but the sizing totally matched that on their website. No regrets and happily wearing them as I type.

Loved the urban reviva items you showed Leonie. You may already have lots of nice jeans but these looked so stunning on you, I’d be sooo tempted! Bags yes! Maybe no 2 if you only want one? Chanel jackets elevated simple outfits so much I was surprised. I would probably wear one for work even if it were quite stretchy and comfy. Would keep at least one of those! Please let us know briefly what you did decide to keep! Would love you to do some more try ons! Of the returning trends, I loved the denim skirts you showed. So pretty. Vinyl coats- not for me. It gets super cold here and vinyl in my experience cracks and is not long lasting. Plus it doesn’t breathe so you shiver or sweat. Top to toe denim - I loved the idea of white and blue denim together but I’d probably wear all blue as well

The green jacket made you pop out of the screen! The style and colour suited you perfectly. Green shoes and boots are for sale everywhere and I think green high shaft booties would be perfect. And as per Canadian Tuxedo, it was worn by men for weekend chores and outdoor activities. Once the term became popular, and in style, we Canadian women are dressing it up o more. The right boots with Canadian Tuxedo, elevates the outfit to the style you choose; from Casual to Casual Chic.

Adding feathers to an outfit sounds like it could be fun. For those of us who recycle, this is a whole new media to explore. Definitely keep the black purse. I may need to get one too. And, I once bought a very attractive bright kelly green suit. As a young woman with a good body and long red hair, the suit made quite the statement. The problem I had was that once I wore it with one group of people; it became "old" if I wore it again with the same crowd. Even pieces of the suit got a less than energetic response a second time around.

Love a good denim skirt and metalics always preferred especially for shoes and bags. I just purchased a great pair of wide legged jeans from Mango and they are the most comfortable jeans. I love these segments, they are inspiring and get me to think out of the box.

😂finally my compulsive shopping pays off… I have everything except for the Vinyl coat and Feathers. But I do have a Trench in like a coated fabric. Think Barbour. I think that one can work just as well. There’s just one thing I keep refusing to buy are Ballet flats 😅 I’m too short and round for that to work.

Loved #2 & 9 jackets super versatile they can be worn with many other colors. # 4 cardigan for sure which I would pair with the #11 floral maxi dress , black booths for the cooler days sandals for Summer. Absolutely the black purse a super classic piece that will look amazing with all your choices.

I love the all denim look but not when it's too match matchy. The mataluc bags are a delightful surprise and reminiscent of my barbies wardrobe which I was sure I would obtain as an adult! ( but haven't been able to. Lol !)) I'm not likeetalic boots but that's just me. Ty!

Warp I.o bags the geometrical ones in metallic category. They come in colors as well. If I ever bought an expensive bag it will be theirs. I have been eyeing them for years now

I thought the white #4 jacket and the black #10 jacket worked best for you. The #10 jacket in particular had a certain playfulness that I'm always looking for in style! I must say, you were a far better model than the unhappy-looking kids on the site.
