Hey, great stuff! A little add-on to the "Alien" secrets: only one actor knew that a baby alien was going to pop out of that guy's chest, so the looks of terror on the cast's faces were genuine. Big fan. Keep up the great work!

Additionally, Psycho was the first movie to forbid people to enter the theater after the picture had started. Prior to that time, you entered the movie at whatever time you arrived. When the movie cycled to your entrance time, you simply left. Hitch choreographed Psycho for maximum impact. Pure genius!

My favorite favorite movie secret of all was when I found out in "Alien"(the original).that Ridley Scott never informed the actors about how the scene featuring John Hurt in the dining room would take place...It takes place after the face hugger releases him and they're all sitting around the table relieved he is okay and suddenly the baby Alien decides to burst forth from his insides.He said he never said anything in order to elicit genuine reactions of horror and fear from the actors.What a masterpiece of a scene! I watched it from then on with a whole new level of feeling and respect!

He actually announced probably about 8 hours ago on his twitter that he's going to be trying to act more now. I only just saw that when I googled to make sure I was telling you the right movie.

Link Sab if you actually watch the movies, or read the books, Gandalf says that Hobbits are especially *resistant* to the One Ring. Hence the longevity of Golum/Smeagol. While Hobbits aren't immune, they can carry (bear its burden) the One Ring longer without using its power unlike the 3 races. This does not necessarily mean that Hobbits are weak. Just look at the considerable respect given to the four Hobbit companions at the end by the three races of Man, Elves and Dwarves.

Hobbits are not influenced because they are usually content with their lives, those who seek power are most influenced. It's why Boromir was affected but Faramir his brother was not. Oh, and Smeagol was not a hobbit, but a cousin race. Similar but water loving, hobbits as you should know are not built for swimming and fear deep water. They build their homes in meadows, while Smeagol's kin built their homes in river valleys.

Many years ago, my husband made me watch every Rocky movie in sequential order, omitting Rocky 5, to Rocky Balboa. To this day he will not let me watch Rocky 5. He says I'm so lucky and he envies me lol. Must have been a pretty terrible movie.

Autumn Rain Oh he has and certainly still does lol. The Rocky movies are pretty awesome. I didn't mind. But everyone in rural PA refuses to acknowledge Rocky 5, saying it was just so pointless and terrible you can skip it entirely and end it with Rocky Balboa (then of course, Creed) lol. I thought they were pretty decent with how I watched them.
