Hi Sanne - I am sure it was a challenge to choose only 10 fragrances from your collection. I too, love Atomic Rose, Rosendo Mateu’s 5 and Black Orchid. However, I find it challenging to find a time and place to wear Black Orchid. Typically I wear it as a bedtime scent. How about you?

@@fullbottleworthyHi, welcome to my channel ❤️ Black Orchid used to be my partner's signature scent 10 years ago, so to me it's more than just a fragrance u know, a lot of memories have been tied to this scent.. Nowadays I reach for it when wearing an all black outfit mostly.. ❤❤

Just 10 for a year 😱 I can't, I just can't 😆 Love your list, the only one that is not for me is Naxos, can't stand it and God knows I tried 😬 My top 10 for a year: Rosendo Mateu 5, Encens Suave, Electimuss Vanilla Edesia, Laboratorio Olfattivo Torcedor, Bogue Lita, TF Tobacco Oud, Sarah Baker's Loudo, Oud Maracujá, Ganynede and Musk Ravageur... and those are without thinking too much, because if I give it a second thought the list will change! Need to get a Bottle of Grand Soir, love it!! You have fantastic taste in fragrances, good to see you Sanne and thanks for the video!!!

It is always so hard to decide! I think Guidance would be on my list as well, along with Coco Mademoiselle, UNN Sugar Leather and Bouquet Ideale (which is surprising because at first I didn't even like it 😅)

Cocomademoiselle was taken out in the very last moment actually 😅 10 almost turned into 11 + i couldn't include my bedtime scents & gym fragrance, oh well.. Glad you're also enjoying Guidance! ❤

I like how you describe the molecules of Guidance sticking to everything. Unfortunately this fragrance did not work for me and the fact that it seemed to be everywhere actually gave me anxiety, lol! I wanted to get away from it and had to throw away something away because the scent remained no matter what I did!!

Ahhhh Chergui…..always. Recently, mostly because of our weather change here, Tuberose Imperiale and Tonka Venezuela have been my go tos. Getting over a lower respiratory infection- I need something yummy and not too loud. Thank you Sanne for your reviews 😊🌞🌸

Honestly, so far that is the only one that I’ve tried and I really really like it. It is one of those that makes you feel comfortable cozy like giving yourself a hug. Thank you for your sweet words. I can feel myself healing faster already.😊

Hi ❤️ It's funny how stressful it felt to choose only 10, it was an interesting experience to observe myself, it felt mentally hard, as if choosing between best friends... 😂 What do you think about Schwarzlose Berlin in general? I don't own anything from this brand yet.

@@sanneparf Oh, I really like Schwarzlose Berlin. "Rausch" (meaning intoxication or ecstasy) is amazing. And also "Leder 6" (leather). Both are super sexy. But my favourite is 1A-33. It's a fresh floral scent and reminds me of my childhood. I know, it sounds super weird, but to my nose it smells like a mixture of an old fashioned cleaning agent and a walk outside under linden trees in the spring time. But in the best way possible. What a fantastic list, Sanne. For me, when composing a 10 For Life list, I cannot just have my 10 favourites. The 10 For Life must cover all occasions, seasons and moods. @@sanneparf Yes! Choosing 10 took me a while. But I think I would be satisfied with this 10. Understanding that it will change over time. Please do this list annually. We realize that as you discover new fragrances, your list will change from year to year. These lists are always fun and it gives me a chance to do my own list. Thanks, Sanne. I'm flattered you like my list. I wish Uden Overdose came in a 100ml bottle. I'd wear it more often. It has unlisted notes of coffee and coumarin that sets it apart imo. -- CJ --

Hi Sanne! Such a spectacular list! I wish I get the magic of Guidance like you do! I don’t hate it but just felt underwhelmed when trying it. I might get a bigger decant and revisit it someday. My top 10 changes every minute. My first few top fragrances that came to my mind at the moment are Byredo Gypsy Water, Santal 33 (2 of my very first niches that wowed me 😁 Had to include them), Coromendel (my favorite from the line. I can easily put a few more like Le Lion, Jersey, Cuir De Russe and Bois de Iles), RM5, Iris Malikhan, Gris Chanel, Lys 41, FM Synthetic Jungle, Bottega Veneta EDP, Amouage Lyric Man, Dusita Issara, Ormonde Jayne Montabaco and TT Dionisio. Can’t live without them ❤

I'm thinking of adding Le Lion & Bois des Iles to my collection this year, I wish they were slightly cheaper 😅 but the prices are going up every year! I still need to sample Dionisio ✨

Beautiful list, very similar with my taste 😍 If I had to choose only 10: Atomic Rose, Valaya, Cherry Punk, Guidance, White Tea, Burberry Her, Dolce Passione, Hibiscus Mahajad, Chloe Nomade & Florabotanica. Very hard to choose! :)

@@sanneparf I never sampled the extrait and I am curious 😊❤ Atomic Rose, one of my closest signature scents..I also reach for it when I don't know what perfume I want..but I want something special and projecting ❤❤ And Guidance..I really want a bottle of this unique scent, I tried it in the store and at first I wasn`t impressed, but now..I falled in love. It grew on me. I also wanted to include Arabians Tonka in the 10 for life, because it`s my go to in cold winter days, and I can mix it with a lot of perfumes, really sexy.

@@alexandraion4299 some content creators are hating on Montale, but imo Montale have also some great ones, such as Arabians Tonka, Intense Cafe, etc + they last & project even in the wintertime, when it's snowing ❄️ I have noticed that men are getting into vanilla centered perfumes more & more.. times are changing 😻

@@sanneparf #2, 6 are discontinued. MFK is re-releasing APOM Homme fairly soon according to reps. It is a orange blossom bomb and totally unisex. Paragon by Initio closely resembles Charlatan, but Charlatan has more depth to my nose. Thank you for great content!

I got my sample yesterday, and sprayed it on my hand. It is interesting. From a distance it smells sweet, and up close it is more floral. What intrigues me more, is that it smells soooo familiar. I know I have smelled this before in the designer world, but I don't remember what. Like something my mom wore years ago. Has your mom smelled this? I would be curious if it reminded her of something. Don't get me wrong. It is a great smell, but I am sure I have smelled this before. Maybe it is just reminiscent of an older style of designer perfumery.

@@thomasvn My mom also loves Guidance & I actually did ask her this same question, because I read smth similar on Fragrantica, but she said no.. I hope you will eventually enjoy the scent. Maybe re-test it in spring, summer, as on my skin it was more herbal/aromatic in the heat, when I first sampled it last year. Thank you for sharing your experience & insights! It's a journey, there's no right or wrong. No one is a world renown fragrance expert over here on KZfaq 😃 we are all in this together! ☀️
