I think it just works on 1920x1080 and not on other dimensions

Hi. Which format are you trying to use it on? It works on all 16:9 aspect ratios if you do some nesting your sequence where the transition is. If it is not 16:9 aspect ratio, then I am not sure if you can get it to work. Maybe you can with some smart work-arounds like nesting your sequence, but I am not sure.
