Basically, I learned everything in this video. I am a complete beginner (the first time I am creating a new file with this video). It was extremely helpful. Valentina is full of knowledge and better than that great at giving the lecture. Every person having knowledge is not capable of transferring it. I watched this twice because it had so much jam-packed info! The first time I took notes, and the second time I followed along in Premiere myself. Insanely valuable video. Also, for anyone who missed it like I did, the shortcut for enable/disable is CMD+SHIFT+E on Mac & just SHIFT+E on Windows.

This video has been BEYOND helpful to me as I begin my first-ever film. Dude. SO HELPFUL. I haven't used Premiere since 2011-13 (I've been using Final Cut ever since) and I've recently needed to use Premiere again to edit some projects for a company that requires Premiere. I was SO scared to start using it again since I've had my set work-flow for so long in FCPX!! This brought back everything from over a decade ago, PLUS showed me new tools and helped translate my current FCPX workflow over to Premiere with total ease and understanding! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I love your teaching style. Instead of, "Let's meander through all the menu options," it's "Problem=>Solution, Problem=>Solution, Problem=>Solution, Done." The only place I got lost was around 1:48, "checkerboarding my clips," but I was delirious by that time. Glad I pushed through to the end. A real tour de force.

This is the first tutorial I've managed to follow and my finished product was pretty good. Valentina explains what and why, enough for you to get it as a beginner or having messed around on Prem before. There is everything you need to get you going, how to be faster and smarter with everything, and how to add a lot of finesse to your projects. The video is so well made. Little details like, showing actually why the camera audio sounds bad, Showing the multi camera mode exists even though you don't like it, really enhances the quality of this tutorial. Thanks a lot for making this free! ❤

as you watched her 2021 , is it better to watch it then go to this 2023 video or i can just begin with 2023 video directly ?! thanks in advance

There is a wealth of knowledge in both videos & my brain probably got scrambled as I watched both over a couple of days. I think off memory that the 2023 dove deeper, so as a beginner (or semi beginner like myself). I would watch the older video first as it is a explained a bit slower & focuses on the basics more.
