No, lui is always before the conjugated verb (besides penser à) :)

"I talked to my teacher about the problem, but..." Je traduirais probablement par "J'ai parlé à mon professeur du problème, mais...". Alors, est-il préférable (ou peut-être nécessaire) de dire "J'ai parlé du problème à mon professeur, mais..." ? Merci, Dylane!

Ahah qu'est-ce qui m'a trahi ? Oui je suis belge, j'ai grandi dans le sud de la Belgique :) Je dis nonante-neuf mais j'enseigne la version française car j'enseigne le français académique. Mais c'est toujours amusant de le mentionner aux élèves. En général ils préfèrent la version belge :)

@@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Quand je vivais dans la ville belge de Braine-le-Comte, mon numéro de maison était 99. Nonante nuef était beaucoup plus facile que de dire quatre-vingt-dix-neuf. J'ai un ami du Québec la-bas, qui imitait un accent français belge pour que les Belges le comprennent. :-)

The second verb is usually not conjugated (besides futur proche / passé composé, etc). I have many videos about infinitives verbs on my conjugation course if you want. It's here on my channel :)
