10 Giant Amphibious Military Vehicles You Have To See To Believe
Tanks and trucks may dominate the land, while boats patrol the seas, but what happens when you combine the two? It turns out, you get impressive, powerful vehicles with important tactical functions. Amphibious vehicles were key players in World War I and II and continue to form significant portions of modern day forces. And, on a smaller scale, modern day city tours - but that’s another video for another time.
In this video, we’ll be looking at the biggest, most intimidating amphibious military vehicles crossing between today’s land and sea, from smallest to largest.

Here's another thing never mentioned: the cost in OXYGEN between laser and conventional weapons. For example, how much of our atmosphere is burned up by a 500 pound bomb and how much by one firing of a laser - and at what strength, right. Granted, manufacture and use of a (chem) laser may pollute WAY less than the production of a million shells, but still. Fighting and wars are also destroying our planet and commercial aviation, just the fuel used. Aanyway.

So you say the BVS-10 travels at 3 MPH "Underwater".. So is it an amphibian, or a submarine??? I was licensed to drive the M-520 GOER, It had no suspension, the large tires acted as the suspension, which is why it bounced on tank trails at speed tending to flip over killing its driver since it had no roll-cage. The USS San Antonio and USS America are a ships, not an amphibian vehicle. Dude stay on subject. You bring up the Goer (long out of service), but not the M-113 APC which is amphibious by design, (still in active service world wide).
