RO! You guys are missing the best part! The little sheds in the back of the $1000 one are light switches to turn the lights on inside!! You just have to open them from the top and youll see a battery pack!!

The best gingerbread house I made was the one I made from scratch. The cookie was actually good, the frosting was yummy (not too sweet) and I stuck to the traditional candies (I just used more). I did that 1 year... it was so much work but was so fun! My boyfriend is coming home for Christmas, I think we should build one :) (thanks for the idea Ro).

Ro should take creative reign and make her own gingerbread house out of scratch. Decide on a layout, make her own gingerbread sides, make the gummies, make her own icing, use fondant, etc. and then compare THAT one to the $1000 house.

I really do like when you post videos of you making items from your cookbook. One thing that might be interesting is if you make a cake or other items using a pressure cooker or other appliance. Instant pot recipes are very popular. Hope you post some more Christmas and New Year’s from your book. I often go back to look at old videos of you baking when I need ideas, so we still like those videos.
