My old man and the sea. I got that book on CD, narrated by the father and son. Great to listen on long road trips.

Love your list! It was great to add the Rio to Polynesia, they are really sailors with a small boat and no engine! We are starting to summarize some other books as well in our channel, we will add your list for sure!

O primeiro livro que eu li sobre viagens e aventuras no mar foi "cem dias entre ceu e mar" e "Paraty entre dois polos" de Amyr Klink, desde entao fiquei fascinado com a vida a bordo de um barco.

I enjoyed Maiden Voyage by Tania Aebi about the first female solo round the world sailor although a technicality prevented her from being able to claim the title. Also Passgae To Juneau by Jonathan Raban but mainly because that book is set in my local waters of the inside passage of Vancouver Island.

Gostei muito de um livro que se chama KARLUK, E de uma expedição para chegar no polo norte e ficam presos no gelo. E incrivel como alguns conseguiram sobrevivir.

Para quem tem kindle, na loja da amazon vc consegue o The Story of Shackleton's de graça, porém é somente em inglês, mas da para fazer um esforço e ler.

Eu pulei a parte do vídeo que fala do livro do Shackleton com medo de spoiler....hahaha...comecei a ler o livro ontem e já li um 1/3 dele, recomendo muito, é um excelente livro.

I recommend Survive the Savage Sea by Douglas Robertson its a true story of a sailboat being sunk by a pod of killer whales in the Pacific Ocean.

Li a maioria dos livros que vocês indicaram. Ótima lista, nenhum reparo. Meu primeiro livro envolvendo o mar não foi sobre velejar, mas uma aventura de pescaria com muita história de vida, O Velho e o Mar, de Ernest Hemingway. Vou citar dois livros de aventuras náuticas de brasileiros que gosto muito, não quero dizer que tenham que estar na lista, só como sugestão, pois creio que todos gostarão deles: O Mar é Minha Terra, do Beto Pandiani, e o nosso clássico, Aventuras no Mar, do Hélio Setti Jr. Vai um bônus, pela aventura de contornar a Antarctica em solitário num veleiro de cruzeiro de 35 pés vale a leitura, Diário de Bordo, de André Magalhães Homem de Mello.

Olá amigos espero que tudo esteja bem !!!! Livros os básicos que apresentaram eu tenho tirando dois que não tenho aqui !!! Livros como.Memorias do mar , A travessia do snark, O longo caminho ( excelente) ,No coração do mar, kon tiki, cem dias entre o céu e o mar !!! Assim por diante são centenas lógico os livros técnicos e básicos são parte de qualquer barco para ter uma ótima navegação e boas referências de lugares onde irem ou não irem kkķkkk!!! Meus amigos um grande abraço e bons ventos sempre !!!
