Parle Moi de Parfum is such an underrated house. If you like old-school ambers, meaning the wild aromatic fougere-type that was big in the 90s, you gotta try Wake Up World. It's essentially Paloma Picasso Minotaure brought back to it's former glory (same perfumer too). Also very happy to see Sydney Rock Pool getting love, it's my favorite beachy tropical. Again, another seriously underrated house. Arquiste is amazing.

I love the house and old school ambers! Fougere’s are one of my favorite genres of perfumes. The house of Arquiste is very special they have some very great, unique offerings that I enjoy. Thank you for this wonderful comment. 👊🏻

@calisgroomroom hell yes! Glad you are enjoying it! It's great stuff. Not sure if you ever tried Minotaure while it was still good (it's been a watered down mess for 20 years), but that is what it was back in the day. Now, if he would just do a balls to the wall rendition of the old Joop Homme, I'd be a happy man. 😆

I love coco loco and summer hammer. Those were my favorites but let me tell you about puerto Rico from city rhythms. I have a decent collection of about 200 fragrances and i have worn this one the last 3 days in a row. Best most juicy tropical fragrance in my collection. I had a respiratory therapist and 2 nurses telling me how great i smelled with 1 of the nurses coming up to me 3 different times to smell me. I still smelled it when i got home after my 12 hour shift and i didn't have to put my nose up to it to smell it. This stuff is amazing.

Excellent list. I much prefer tropical scents to aquatics in the summer. One fragrance you should check out is "Tales From Zanzibar" by Memoirs of a Perfume Collector, it's bit expensive but it has a delicious guava and coconut scent

I sampled this fragrance a couple years back and it blew my mind! I will most likely add it to my collection at some point. I go back and forth between aquatics and tropical fragrances. I have been gravitating towards tropical fragrances lately. Thanks for the kind words, Omer! 👊🏻

Thank you for your video - great list. I own Kajal Lamar and im a man. For some reason it turns into a very dusty / rose on my skin after 1.5- 2 hours and I just can’t stand it. Smells a little like Danila exclusif or Imperial by Armaf. I appreciate the scent but not sure if it works on me. When we I have that “idk 🥴” feeling it may be time to consider selling it. I’m def interested in coco loco and VIW. I have tried fire of god clone by Alexandria fragrances and it smells great!

Not every fragrance is going to work out for everyone, I’m sure you already know that. With that said, give it some more wears and if it still doesn’t work out for you then you know what to do. Alexandria definitely makes some good stuff. Thank for sharing your thoughts. 👊🏻

The molecules in your fragrances are screaming in terror as they bounce, toss, and shake around like you're making a mixed drink. I don't know if shaking them is actually bad for them, but damn, they do bounce around a lot, lol

Hello! I would like to know about gentleman's nod Juniper reverie. Is it similar or in the style of other fragrances to give me an idea. I find nothing on fragrantica, parfumo.... Thank you

@@carlito7863 hey buddy. Juniper Reverie is a very unique fragrance it honestly doesn’t remind me of anything I’ve tried before nor does it remind me of anything in my collection. My suggestion is to visit the gentleman’s nod website and grab a sample. I hope this helps 👊🏻

How many of these have a coconut note that's detectable and lasting?

I would say that Creed’s Virgin Island Water and Coconut Nanas by Rirana have the most prominent note of coconut out of the fragrances I recommended in this video. The others below have a noticeable coconut but aren’t what I would consider coconut fragrances, Sydney Rock Pool by Arquiste Summer Hammer by Lorenzo Pazaglia Coco Loco by Zaharoff.
