To be honest some of the players on this list are more of a scramblers. From my own understanding a scrambler only runs when a play is failing or a protection breaks, basically to extend the play. But a dual threat runs so dangerously that team's system fully changes to utilize the qb's dual-threat skills.

For those of you questioning why Vick is # 1: 1) Dude literally missed 4 years of football during his career and still hold records as a QB. 2) He was drafted to a garbage Falcons team that not only made the playoffs his 2nd year, but handed Greenbay their first ever home playoff lost. 3) I love Lamar Jackson. It's so dope that the OC catered to his strengths. Well Vick didn't have that. He played majority of his career in the WC Offense that's built for pocket passers. 80% of Vick runs were not drawn up. 4) Defenses would force him to run right because when he ran left, he could throw the ball 80 yards down field with the flick of his wrist. EIGHTY F'KING YARDS!!!!

I believe some people underestimate Vick's passing ability. Glad the video mentions this. He had a strong arm and was accurate while on the move. Additionally, he was the best running QB ever.

Kyler Murray studying film? HAHA, good one. Vick may have been the most exciting and gifted runnner as a QB, but he was never more than average as a passer. Dude has said he didn't work hard before he went to prison. If he had had that motivation early on, he could have been an all time great, but the nod has to go to Young for now. Until Lamar puts a few more great seasons under his belt.

I feel there is a difference between duel threat QB and a running QB. Micheal Vick, randall cunningham, cam newton, lamar jackson are all running QBs. A true duel threat is QBs like patrick mahomes, steve young, josh allen, john elway.
