It's so sad to remember some of these moments now that some guys are wasted on the main roster... Especially the Zayn/Nakamura stuff hit me. The goosebumps I had when Nakamura's entrance hit for the first time, the match those two had... WOW!

I remember I was totally over wrestling the first time I came across an Adam Blampied video and by the end of that video, I was pulled back in. Seriously, one cannot overstate the impact you've had on the KZfaq wrestling community, Adam. You were sorely missed. Words can't describe how wonderful it feels to have you back!

Takeover New Orleans is definitely my favorite. Cole was just so freakin brilliant in this, and Strong joining UE was so damn good. And the main event? GOLDEN.

Honestly, I could feel the emotion in this video. It made me emotional. There's something special in the atmosphere when a Takeover rolls around. The first one I saw was Dallas. I've been fortunate enough to be live at one (Toronto 2). It was honestly the best show I've been to.

Zayn v Nakamura just gives me a different kind of emotion.

I remember watching Takeover Brooklyn live. The fact that Asuka taking down Bayley was both compelling and heartbreaking. The way Finn Balor crawling towards the belt made my skin do all sorts of interesting things. Me screaming "FIGHT FOREVER" along with everyone else at Zayn and Nakamura. It may well be the best wrestling show I have ever seen.

Adam, I can't put into words just how much emotion your presentation and delivery evokes in me. I completely buy that you love wrestling, and that love is infectious. Thank you.

Am i the only one who thinks Takeover Cardiff was pretty much perfection? Dar vs Banks is a great opener,then Cesaro goes full Cesaro on Dragunov who holds his own,then that AMAZING three way tag, the super fun kaiju match between Mastiff and Coffey and one of the best matches I've ever seen in Bate vs WALTER. Add excelent commentary from Vic and Nigel and the very best crowd possible, every match being different from the other and i say it's very close to perfection.

I was at NXT New Orleans live and I still get goosebumps when I think about it. Definitely my personal favorite takeover ever.

I just love how much Adam clearly loves the sport, his videos always just showcase his energy and genuine, er, love for it all (that was a redundant statement). Also, his metaphors are just God-tier. Said it once, I'll say it again, it's so good to have him back.

I feel like we need more Adam Blampied content. Especially during these times. The guys makes you get so invested. I’ll definitely subscribe if so.

Black vs Gargano has to be my favourite NXT match ever, it was the height of Aleister Black imo, and it embodies exactly what made him so good. Adam already said it, but "I absolve you of your sins" is such a great moment, the buildup got the payoff it deserved, and it was an absolutely perfect match. God I want that type of Aleister Black again.

Wathcing this back now because this was such a great time in wrestling. I think an underrated element of takeovers was when Mauro Ranallo was on the call. He added so much more to the moment each and every time.

Despite New Orleans not being #1, This top 10 and Adam Blampied are 2 national treasures. they both create great moments. and I love every bit of this!

Takeover Dallas is also special to me. First time I gave NXT a chance and I had never heard of Shinsuke Nakamura or Njpw at that point but after Shinsukes masterful performance, not just in ring but entrance, I was hooked and the world of New Japan became open to me with soon discovering all time favorites The Bullet Club and The Elite.

MAKE IT TWICE A WEEK

Watching this video 3 months into the ‘rona, and I can’t help but reflect on what Adam said early on. TakeOver Tampa would have probably been the final PPV on what has been a remarkable 3 year run of great NXT PPVs. It would be like watching something crush under the weight of its own pressure IF ‘rona didn’t shut the sports/sports entertainment world down. But I think it has been a blessing in disguise being able to scale back, reset, and readjust their trajectory. I feel like this has helped NXT add structural support pillars that will prevent the PPV machine from crushing under its own weight. And that is my shining light in all of this pandemic. I cannot wait for the next live audience show!

I was at Philadelphia 3 and it was fantastic! The crowd was so crazy and were so into the match. It was the best wrestling experience I have ever had.

Anyone else watching this one year later to remind themselves how good NXT used to be?

I was lucky enough to be in the crowd for two of these - Takeover Brooklyn 4 , and New Orleans - and they were amazing. Watching Toronto and Chicago 1 basically left me with tears in my eyes from DIY to Ciampa's turn. I've never been disappointed watching a Takeover.

This is an amazing list but I'm also left wondering if Adam took any UK Takeovers in to count because I believe Takeover Cardiff deserves a spot on this list it shouldn't be high but should be on it yes a underwhelming Womens match but the story in it was great a hard hitting last man standing between Mastif and Coffey, Cesaro vs Dragonov reminds why we love Cesaro and raises the question how has he not become world champion yet but also insures us that Dragonov is set to be a star a hard hitting opener with Banks vs Dar with the Banks just about failing to win after missing out on his first Takeover, a exceptional Triple Threat Tag Team match and of course that main event Walter vs Bate Holy Shit, a match going into nobody believed Bate would win but as the match goes in you find yourself starting to believe in Bate after he continues to fight before Walter hits a final bastard of a Lariat and puts Bate and us to rest, fan fucking tastic

So good to have Adam back
