I agree about Moonstone. Songbird is okay, but less essential in my opinion.

@@janejohnson4946 The reason I feel like Moonstone is more essential to The Thunderbolts is that the team is most interesting because of its unpredictability. They walk a line between hero and villain and might tip either way at any given moment. Moonstone represents this better than any other character in the team's history. The others lean strongly in one direction or the other. (Songbird is pretty much a hero at this point.) While Moonstone is primarily motivated by what's in her own best interest and might jump to either side at any moment. You could maybe make this argument for The Fixer as well, but he doesn't seem quite as complex.

cafeterialoca I feel like it's...almost poetic. I, for one, welcome the resurgence of 90's comics, from thunderbolts psuedo-liefeld art, to Valiant comics being a thing again. Here's to hoping Malibu comics makes a comeback, too!

Start at Thunderbolts 128 and keep going til the book changes its roster in Dark Avengers. You'll know the jump off point.

Ironman: Armor Wars Prologue by David Micheline One of the best Iron man storylines. And read Armor Wars too, Ghost is not on it, but its great, one of the Top 3 Iron Man stories.

If you go by a character's representation and relevance as a member of the team, this list is spot on.
