Thunderbolts in 1997 was a sharp modernization to personalize Marvel villains separately from Avengers on character for its 20 + years in development.

This is a good way to introduce deadpool to MCU

Basically marvel never capitalised upon this very fast. This has always been a good story writers seem always motivated to write hard and fast for this team. The art has always been top notch too.

In my marvel universe series show there would be this website to the show that would show of things that would maybe help “expand” the universe. One of these would be a page there would be this paper with multiple names on it with four names being ringed in. Those names being Goliath, Moonstone, Screaming Mimi, Beetle and Fixer which reveals how he chose which villains to hire to pretend to be heroes. BUT there would also be other names on the list, the names being of other villains that has been thunderbolt in the comics members like Blizzard, Radioactive Man, Bullseye, Boomerang, Speed Demon and many other.
