Howdy! Just a heads up some people have noted that they consider 0:59 and 3:28 jump scares. I dropped the volume on these and cross-faded the first one in to minimise shock/surprise, but just a heads up if you are extra sensitive to jump scares.

The creator of around the clock at bikini bottom also made mr krussy requires the souls of the damned, it's a joke game but the krussy mode which you get after completing normal mode is truly horrifying, if you continue to play both games they do get better

Around the Clock at Bikini Bottom is definitely the absolute best SpongeBob fan game of all time, with a lot of canon and fanon references, diversive gameplay every level, cool story and a lot to collect and secrets to find in order to get the 101%.

On the topic of Five Nights at the Krusty Krab its sequel- Five Nights at the Chum Bucket- improves greatly on the graphics and fixes all of the original's issues. It's essentially a remaster of Krusty Krab. I recommend you check it out if you ever want to make a Top 10 "Best Spongebob Fan Games" or Top 10 "FNAF Fangames".

The ironically "funny" thing about this list and the horror games, is that's part of the charm and horror. The graphics, designs, and attempted horror elements both make it fun and spooky. They're nostalgic throwbacks to the days of Markiplier and the others who played Fnaf Fangames and stuff.... :)

There is. After exiting the Krusty Krab. Head out back and follow the flickering light sounds. You'll find a looping image of Nosferatu. Interacting with it will engage Extreme mode as mentioned above.

Here's a random fact about the Slenderpants game that was at first of the list: Instead of the "Wee-Woo!" sound we hear in the gameplay, the original version of the game actually had a loud screeching sound that would scare some people, and also you originally collected notes instead of Krabby Patties like in the new one. There was also a time limit in the original too, in which if you failed to collect all the pages in time, you would get a message that says "You ran out of time and suffocated." Oh yeah btw the video was awesome, Strider! Keep up the awesome work bro!

Btw Strider, Around The Clock At Bikini Bottom is SUPPOSED to have blocky/weird looking graphics and characters. All of the developers (Dave Microwaves Games) previous games look exactly the same graphics design-wise

The ‘Red Mist’ horror game was pretty interesting to me. (Spoilers ahead) I didn’t expect multiple endings and secret codes to achieve the true ending. Morse code and KZfaq IDs aren’t usually things you’d expect a riff-creepypasta game to take seriously.

There’s a second version of 3AM At The Krusty Krab called 6AM At The Chum Bucket, about Squidward working at the Chum Bucket being stalked by Karen. It’s basically the same game but a lot bigger and a lot more difficult.

I can’t help but be thankful for the no-jumpscare policy. I really enjoy horror (I go crazy over Fnaf sometimes), but when it comes to jumpscares. I’m just a massive chicken. And it doesn’t help that I have spastic attack every time I get Ooga-Booga’d. That’s the last time I ever play Fnaf 4 in class…

I remember there was an unskippable trailer for The Nun that was banned because it tricked you into turning the volume up before a big jump scare. It was a massive seizure risk. I had a panic attack when I knowingly watched it out of morbid curiosity. 😅

Around the clock was made by Dave microwave horror which he has the same graphics for the characters such as on boofies bunker and lanky lonky. 3am at the Krusty Krabs was made by the same dude and turned into a game for around the clock.

I genuinely appreciate how you opened the video saying your critique isn't a personal judgement and encouraged the devs to keep making games, then went on to point out what the games did well like atmosphere and voice acting. I also like how you don't include jumpscares. This kind of wholesomeness is why I sub'd to the channel :)

1-Wait, did boo just talk? 2-I feel like spongebobs day of terror was meant to put you in the driver’s seat of the rock bottom episode. You are meant to feel that sense of paranoia spongebob felt the entire time and at the end nothing bad happens to you and your on your merry way home.

I remember seeing “3 AM At The Krusty Krab” being played all the time by various KZfaqrs. I thought it was so scary when it first came out, lol. Also, not to make fun of anyone who speaks Spanish or any similar language, but whenever I see Bob Esponja, I always giggle and I have no clue why.

For #9, the camera problem is also there with the first FNAF game. The only room that really matters is Pirate's cove because you have to check on Foxy. Other than that, you really only need to check the doors
