10 Huge Rangers Old Firm Cup Victories

2 жыл бұрынA look back at 10 times Rangers have faced Celtic in cup competition and come out on top. Both Scottish Cup and League Cup games considered.
Had to cheat a little and bend the usual channel parameters due to the rarity of Old Firm cup draws so there are 2 pre-Advocaat entries on this list.
This one is a re-recorded and adjusted version of one of the first videos I worked on in preperation for the 2021 Scottish Cup game so the 180 odd OG viewers from the early days of the channel may find some of it a bit familiar, apologies for that but thank you for the support.

I'm really shocked that the 1984 League Cup Final didn't make this list. Super Ally scored a hattrick. They don't make replicas of the shirt worn that day without reason.

Sorry buddy, I keep meaning to explicitly say in the intros cause I know not a lot of people read descriptions but the Advocaat era and on tends to be to focus of the channel, partly because that’s what I grew up with and feel comfortable talking about but mainly for footage quality, even early 2000s can be a bit ropey. Obviously had to bend that rule on this one for lack of options but didn’t want to go too much further back other wise you’re looking at the 20s for a potential number 1 with the hoodoo buster or Tam Forsyth final etc.

@@Top10Rangers that's a pretty fair point and I reckon we're probably quite close in age since you tend to talk about a lot of the games I physically watched throughout my childhood. Hope I didn't come off sounding harsh with my original comment as I'm a fan of your stuff. You've really cornered the market here as I can't think of another channel that produces this type of Rangers content and let's be honest the podcast/review section is pretty cluttered between Rangers Review, Heart and Hand, SharpDiv, CJ etc.

I’m just making the kind of videos I always searched for but couldn’t find to be honest man, massive respect to the podcast boys but I personally have too short an attention span to just listen without visuals to tell the story.
