A look back at 10 times Rangers have gone to the home of our Old Firm rivals and come away with a result. This video was intended to be released in the lead up to the game on January 2nd, however with the game delayed leaving us starved of the greatest fixture in football I thought the best thing would be to release it now rather than wait. Enjoy Bears, only another 2 and a bit weeks til the Rangers are back.
Only games from the Advocaat era and on have been considered based purely on not being old enough to remember them and the feelings surrounding them, apologies to older Bears on that one.

There should have been an old firm game today but in typical fashion Celtic managed to have it postponed because they have injured players out, just like in 2008.

That Mendes goal was one of my all time favourites he had immaculate technique shame he wasn't around that long. Was sitting watching that game with my brother who is a Celtic man. Back then you could still get cans of Miller he was getting offered cans of "Kenny" the rest of the day lol.

I think that was the first time I'd seen us win there, Mendes was unbelievable. Couldn't believe we'd signed the guy I'd been watching score belters on what felt like a weekly basis on Match of the Day for such a cheap price either. Cans of Kenny 😀

Absolute brilliant but makes me wonder if you're young? We had 2 almost replicas from Thern and Watkins, Kontermans winner in extra time, David Cooper doing keepy ups, lovenkrands, it's like splitting hairs there's been some incredible goals - fuck Mackay has to be up there. It's an impossible task but we can agree ANY goal against those bastards is brilliant

Great video. The 1-0 win at Celtic Park back in March 1997 should have been included though, that win as good as killed off Celtic in our 9 in a row season.

Theres plenty of big games from the 9 in a Row era I've watched back that probably should make the list tbf, the unofficial rule I've worked with so far on the channel has been don't cover pre-Advocaat because its all I'm old enough to remember but I now realise I've maybe not been so clear on that in the video description. What a side we had under Advocaat, a lot of gifted players but they played as a team. Something we're struggling for just now. A lot were "look at the signings" thinking we'd smash the league!! Who are these signings?? Time t wake up fs, your playing for Glasgow Rangers- that means 110% for as long as needed. Quickly get found out. Personally I think we had our 20+ goals man in Cholak!! But we got rid!!! I pray I'm wrong BUT!!!!!!?????

Cheers man, this was a fun one to do for obvious reasons! Was gonna hold off and release it when the game should have kicked off but as bad as it got Only an Excuse being cancelled leaves a bit of a hole in the New Year football entertainment schedule and thought this might help a little.

That overhead kick for me is one of the best memory's every I was kicked out by the parents for being a wee arse of a teenager staying at my uncles hes a celtic fan but a good guy and his two sons are celtic fans. At half time he's like cheer up your team can not be as bad in the second half surely by God we fucking were. Then bang goal I jumps up yasssssssssssssssssssssssssss Then it sinks in where I am! I turn round nothing but straight angry faces my two cousins went to der rooms at full-time my uncles was like let's see if ur mum wants u back yet 🤣🤣🤣

I would 100% watch the same video made by someone that can go further back but Robert mate I'm only 29, I cover what I can personally remember because supporter reaction and feelings surrounding what I talk about play such a big part in the videos and without either being in the stadium or having the internet to guage that I don't think I can discuss it in the same way. sevco,s 2-1 win at celtic park in decenber 2019 wasnt vital, just to remind yous, celtic went on the win another treble and claim 9 in a row. great how you celebrated it though, but a league isny just won on old firm games, celtics 2-0 win at ibrox 4 month earlier was vital. but some of you lot are deluded.
