'BASTA' and 'MAMA MIA' are used in Flemisch as well. But less and less. (Flemish: Dutch that is spoken in Flanders - Belgium). Thanks for the video !!

Nice video. I'd like to see a video of an American telling the waiter "che schifo questa pizza!" years ago when I learning Italian I was staying with a host family and when the mother asked me if I wanted more food, I said "Non me ne frega niente"! Eh. I had understood that it was an ok way to say "No, that's ok".

Totally disagree slang is adopted by the locals so really is not slang just informal which in many cases is great.

I wouldn't translate "cavolo" as damn. Because the fact that you use "cavolo" is because you're avoiding curse words in order to use it in more polite company. I would say it's more like "heck" What the heck! Che cavolo! (you see, instead of using 'hell' or 'caz##") Enjoyed your video. I would use mannaggia for damn, no? :-)
