Lisa, I am anxiously waiting for more Italian lessons. I understand that you have an audience interested in your fashion and cooking videos, but don't forget those of us who are wanting to learn more Italian! Thanks for what you do and am looking forward to learning about being able to read a menu and ordering dishes in Italian.

Thank you for the gentle reminder! I was going to film all about Italian food pronunciation/ ordering in Italian until this quarantine situation happened and then I figured people might not find this useful, but you’re right... Learning Italian now might actually be more useful than ever with more time on our hands, despite the fact that travel is still a pipe dream for now! I have a few more videos planned first, but I will get up a food video shortly! 🤗 thank you for watching!

@@ladolcelisa I'm planning on a trip next Spring to France, Switzerland and, of course, Rome. Since you've been so helpful in getting me started with Italian with your effective teaching style and personality, and since you live in Canada, I was wondering if you can teach basic French? It never hurts to ask, and as Wayne Gretzky said " you miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Haha I wish I could teach you french, but my pronunciation is not great, nor is my French understanding 🙈 but I JUST uploaded a new Italian video, because you asked... so Gretzky was right about something 😂 Enjoy!! ☺️

Great video esp love the way you slow down the pronunciation for learners. One small thing- it seems the singular of baggage should be “bagaglio” rather than “bagaglo” - I had to google it but I thought the “gli” a more common occurrence than “glo”. Also “diritto” in the caption is missing the first “i”. Love the lesson though and it’s been really helpful for me as a review. I’m also recommending it to my friends who are traveling to Italy. Thanks heaps!
@ladolcelisa
@ladolcelisa 4 жыл бұрын
I misspelled bagaglio, it was definitely a typo on my end. Dritto is the proper spelling however to indicate going straight ahead. Diritto is another way to say someone is right. Italian at times can be complicated because certain words can have more than one meaning. I hope this helps. Bagaglio is singular, bagagli is plural, but both can mean luggage.
