in luxury cars they tend to have features which are far ahead of any budget car segment .. ventilated seats rear camera etc were available in luxury cars much before they came to all mass production budget cars

I did not expect this from you, Moses. Test drive is mainly for : seating comfort in driving seat, road view, blind spots , vehicle response - steering , braking , body roll, road feed back , all this and some more to your style of driving . Response is crucial in the first few days before one adapts to the vehicle . If seating comfort and proper road view can not be , drop the car from your options . Next , keeping the family in view , rear seat comfort. Finally, boot size and fuel type.
