In this video we will be talking about 10 Life Lessons From Buddha. Gautama Buddha was a philosopher, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who is credited as the founder of Buddhism.
So with that in mind, here are 10 important lessons that we can learn from Gautama Buddha -
01. Practice the Middle Way
02. Adopt the right view
03. Create good karma
04. Live everyday like it is your last
05. Great things are the results of small good habits
06. Show your wisdom in silence
07. If in a conflict, choose compassion
08. Choose friends for quality over quantity
09. Be generous
10. You can be a Buddha too
I hope you enjoyed watching the video and hope these 10 life lessons from Buddha will add value to your life.
The Buddha was a philosopher, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who is credited as the founder of Buddhism. He was born as Siddhartha Gautama in India in 566 BC into an aristocratic family and when he was twenty-nine years old, he left the comforts of his home to seek the meaning of the suffering he saw around him.
After six years of arduous yogic training, he abandoned the way of self-mortification and instead sat in mindful meditation beneath a bodhi tree. On the full moon of May, with the rising of the morning star, Siddhartha Gautama became the Buddha, the awakened one. The Buddha wandered the plains of northeastern India for 45 years more, teaching the path or Dharma he had realized in that moment. Around him developed a community of people, drawn from every tribe and caste, devoted to practicing this path.
Nowadays, he is worshiped by most Buddhist schools as the enlightened one who has escaped the cycle of birth and rebirth, transcending Karma. Their main teachings focus on their insight into duhkha meaning “suffering” and into Nirvana, which means the end of suffering.

We have a small error in the video. It says that Buddha was born in India. After going through the comments and then doing our own fact checking - Buddha was born in Nepal and not in India. We would like to apologies for it and hope this video would add value to your life. Thank you so much for watching.

Anyway Take a look at this too. Regarding the birth place of Lord Buddah. Please see the video link ENGLISH (18:20) onwards, It is suggested with evidence that the Buddah was Born and lived in SriLanka. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f65ppM-WuLCzmas.html There are many videos relating to the above suggestion but they are in Srilankan Language Sinhala. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jqh5pLlh0tqlfXk.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kMV_jdib3ZeVe40.html

Video also called him "a medIATOR" instead of a "mediTATOR." The screen has it spelled correctly, just the audio is wrong. I'd like to say it's not a big deal, but he is basically the icon of meditation (not mediation). Consider this constructive feedback, nothing personal, but I wanted to tell you because honestly my immediate reaction was to feel the entire video would be suspect after hearing the wrong word used.

The most scientific part of Buddhism☸️is, as the Buddha said, “Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

I was raised in church and learned a lot,I'm 42 years old but the last few months God has been showing me things that no church has ever taught, there is so much more to everything, religion has never been what God wants,we need to be students of the Lord, when we categorize ourselves,we limit ourselves,I think all religions might have something right but none have the whole truth,I've learned things lately that has been hidden from the world, get off to yourself, put away all distractions,tv, movies, music, some people have been sent to cast spells over your life and distract you from learning who you are,ask God to show you the missing pieces,I've been amazed at what I've been learning

@@arthursmarthur I pray you believe the Gospel. That Jesus Christ was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life again by God for our justification. God's free gift of Righteousness is through Jesus Christ. He gave Himself for our sins, and washes us in His blood that turns our sins from red as scarlet to white as snow. You can be justified in the eyes of God through the blood of Jesus Christ and be reconciled to God through the death of His Son on the cross. Put your faith in Jesus Christ and give your life to Him because he is the only One who can save you from the everlasting lake of fire that you will be tossed into for all eternity, forever on fire non stop where there is no time or clock just eternity of torment for rejecting Jesus Christ, God's free gift of Righteousness. Call on the name of Jesus and put your faith in Him. Jesus laid down His own life for our sins because of His love for us, how much more will we be saved from the wrath of God through Jesus! Hell is forever and ever a fire hotter than one can imagine but Christ has His hand stretched out to you waiting for you to trust in Him. Blessings

JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON! REPENT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!✝ Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.” - Hebrews 13 5-15 New Living Translation. Yes, there is a God and that one and only God is Yahweh! Do not depend on an idol buddha for answers in life instead turn to God who is real! From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Matthew 4:17 God loves and blesses you!✝✝✝ Turn away from these evil idolatrous things like Buddhism, Jainism, Shinto, and Hinduism and turn and seek Jesus Christ for healing, hope, love, the truth, and peace not this! God loved us so much that he sent his one and only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins so that one day we can see God in heaven and go to heaven! Ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness for your sins; He will forgive you because He is a merciful God! Repent before it's too late!!!✝✝✝ symbol of Jesus, love, forgiveness, and repentance!✝✝✝ Instead, meditate on his words!

@@ramaraksha01 i think it doesn't mean that you have to abandon your dreams and aspirations in life, but rather analise the way you aproach the idea of them. why do you have this dreams and aspirations? if the intention is good then it will do you good, but then, what will you do to achieve them? you can do it in an unhelathy way that will eventually hurt you and you won't enjoy, or you can do it consciously, about all of this things, and enjoy the path to achieve those goals in life. i may be wrong of course, but that's the answer i can give you now that makes the most sense to me

@@alexmcconnell844 it's called a different view - if you want to just only listen to ideas that make you happy & those that you agree with please do not come to public forums like this What I am saying is simple - there is cost to everything - a movie star lives the rich life but he or she is open to threats on their life, they live in a golden cage & there are so many who struggle to become stars working at menial jobs for 30-40 years! . The kid who wants top marks or grades has to spend an enormous amount of time & effort, worry & sacrifice whereas the kid who doesn't care gets to sleep late, enjoy a ball game on TV, hang out etc The former is unhappy whereas the latter is happy! Amazingly you implore your kids to be like the former & not the latter! Amazing! But somehow here you come angry with me !

When I seek wisdom I read the bible. But it makes me feel unfulfilled. Buddhism gives me inner peace and vast wisdom. When I give was of cash my spirit is rewarded. The happiness I attain from giving and not expecting a favor in return is very great. Buddhism has won many battles in my life. Think about it. Wait for a saviour or be one.

When i read that i can feel that some truths buddha said are reasonable thoughtful and it seem to indicate the source of suffering is all come from myself.

What makes you sad or happy may have been an OUTSIDE situation, but, your feelings are inside you. That doesn't mean someone should judge you on your own feelings. You'll eventually feel less miserable, EVENTUALLY. There are no guarantees in life. But, try to not lose faith in YOURSELF. Without faith we wouldn't have hope, without hope, we wouldn't have dreams, without dreams we wouldn't have goals.

1. Practice the middle way, release ourselves from our desires. Embrace the pleasures of existence, instead of obtaining things. 2. Adopt the right view. Do not get upset with people or situations. Why do we think what we think? 90/10% rule, life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react. Use what we have around us to create good growth. 3. Develop good karma. Work on our actions and intentions. Work on ourselves in the present. Choose to give more effort today. Make a schedule, live more healthily. Our past does not define us. 4. Live every day like it’s your last. Do today what must be done. Liberate ourselves from the idea of birth and rebirth. Live ardently every day. Start the day right. Breath in and breath out. Focus on each task, live in the present moment. 5. Great things are the result of little things done with great purpose. The pot gathers the rain 🌧 drop by drop. It takes 18 days to 222 days to develop a new habit. Start small in breaking bad habits. Avoid triggers. Failing is part of learning. 6. Show your wisdom in silence. Talk only when you have something good to say. The more you learn the more you’re exposed to what you don’t know. Listen and engage in healthy dialogue. 7. Hatred is never appeased by hatred. Look at them with compassion. 8. Choose friends for quality over quantity. Seek fellowship with Nobel men. 9. Be generous and help each other. Ask for support. Care for yourself. 10. You can be a Buddha too. We must strive every day. Change starts with us. Struggle well and do not give up.

in Buddhism, there is a well-defined chain of interrelated factors. It is called "paticca samupada". Its sequence is strictly defined: ignorance-karmic form-consciousness-mental and physical existence - sense organs and sensory sensations-desire-thirst - attachment - rebirth-death. And so on in a circle. This is the canon. And we can understand it and reflect about in our own way, but it works exactly in this sequence, one gives birth to another. If one wants to stop this cycle, he/she need to go backwards.

Buddha couldn't co-op relationship. He leaves his fortune and family to find freedom You'll never be free in life but you can choose to simplify it to a minimum. 🙏😊✌

he leaves his family to save them later and find the answer that lead to freedom, you also born alone but doesnt mean you can't co-op, if Buddha couldn't co-op why Buddha teachs anyone?

Is that what everyone should do? Just leave everything and live as a beggar? Please think this thru The Buddha was after peace & happiness and he thought that getting rid of desires would accomplish that - he was right but what he did not seem to understand is that then we have no life - it would be like we retired from life Maybe ok for the old but terrible advice for the young

@@ramaraksha01 You mean we would have no life because we just would meditate under a tree and do nothing usefull(school, work, etc)? Well if you dont desire for those things, you dont care if you just meditate. If you dont see its as a retirement your just living life. You're comment, my comment. It all comes down to desires.

@@parmenides5032 Why then do you need to be human? If all you want to do is sit and meditate, life as a Tree would be better, don't you think? Then you can sit about & meditate all day! Food falls from the sky, nothing to do, no desires, no aspirations, you get what you want And that is what Hinduism is saying - Tat Tvam Asi - You Are That - You become what you are or what you desire You keep thinking that you get what you want but still remain human You want to just sit around meditating - what about food? Someone has to feed you - you are then a dependent! At some point people get tired of carrying a healthy human being who refuses to work, just wants to sit and meditate
