Here are 10 meal kit ideas using ingredients all from my food storage! I wanted everything to be shelf stable and have the ability to grab and go if we needed to as well as to donate or drop off meal kits to friends or family in need.

Always mark bags and add recipe cards, what if you are feeling under the weather and a family member has to do the cooking. Always prepare for unpredictable. Good job on the bags

Some of the ingredients used i wouldn't keep in my emergency pantry, such as carton broth (cubes or powder instead) and instant rice just examples. But the ideas are great!

My rule for food storage is I don’t store anything I don’t usually use so I rotate through everything very often! Broth is very bulky though but we just don’t like bouillon very much😊

There are only two if us, so your huge amounts seem like a lot! I am glad to have some more ideas for using the dehydrated hashbrowns. Thank you.

We are a family of 5! My mom always says it’s harder to cook for 2 than for a family because recipes are made for at least 4 people😊

Great vid. I've been thinking of making homemade MRE type kits to give away if something goes wrong with the food supply chain. I'd give them anonymously to be safe.

That’s a great idea! I have a freeze drier and I’ve always wanted to freeze dry leftovers into MRE kits but with 3 teenagers we don’t ever seem to have any leftovers😂

3:56 is actual meals in bags 😊 so the 12 pack of ramen only needs one bone broth?

They aren’t individually wrapped like traditional ramen so I included the whole package to keep it fresh. I use 1 block per person so for my family, 1 bone broth will cook 5 blocks of noodles and it will be like a stirfry, not a soup😊
